Nathan Manley: C/3B, (2023) Moeller, OH. 5-foot-9, 175-pound. Athletic in the box, the right-handed hitter recorded an exit velocity of 93 mph. Began in an athletic open stance with a small controlled load, then used a toe tap. Had quick bat speed. Found multiple barrels with some loud contact. Gap to gap approach. While catching, his best recorded throw to second was clocked at 78 mph; showed a fluid quick exchange, soft hands, and athletic fluid feet. displayed next-level catching ability by boasting a 1.89-1.96 pop time. Has athletic setup. In the 60-yard dash, his time was 7.28.

Nathan Manley: C/3B, (2023) Moeller, OH. 5-foot-9, 175-pound. At the plate, the right-handed hitter had a max exit velocity of 89 mph. Begins in a balanced athletic stance with a controlled smooth load, then uses a toe tap. Bat speed is quick, exhibits an upward swing plane and high finish. Movements laterally were athletic. While catching, his best throw downs of the day reached a max velocity of 76 mph; has a quick exchange, next level hands, and smooth feet. Displayed his ability to control the run game with a pop time of 1.87-1.94. Tons of flexibility and athletic setup. Showed a quick arm action with a high ¾ slot. Recorded a 60 time of 7.14 at the event.

Hit: Right-handed hitter that starts in a balanced stance. Goes with a quiet loading sequence with fluid movement patterns. Compact stroke with obvious twitch too and strength through. Up to 74mph bat speed/24gs of rotational acceleration. Barreled everything around the yard, running the gaps with ease. High follow bat.
Power: Gap pop with some loft power to pull.
Offensive Projection: Middle of lineup.
Max BP Exit Velocity: 96 mph
Max BP Distance: 323 ft
Field: Looks the part behind the dish. Checks all the boxes. Can really catch/throw and receive. Talented defender.
Throw: Clean arm with jump out of the hand.
Defensive Projection: C.

Body Type: 5-foot-7, 160-pound physical frame.
Swing Mechanics: Right-handed hitter that starts in an athletic stance. Goes with a simple load followed by a balanced launch.
Hit: Aggressive swinger with a nice, level path. Stronger than he is fast presently but bat speed is also an above average tool. Stroked line drives to the middle of the field in BP. Swing generates natural lift.
Power: 86 mph exit velocity. Line drive guy present gap abilities.
Offensive Projection: Middle of lineup.
Field: At third base he plays with short, quick footwork. Takes linear routes ang ets to heels at times in funnel. Actions appear more athletic on the move. Behind the dish he uses a bit of a lower slow than normally but ball comes out well. Feet are quick/create solid direction. Popped form 2.06-2.16.
Throw: Ball comes out well with enough strength for both positions.
Defensive Projection: C/3B.

Body Type: 5-foot-7, 160 pounds. Thinner frame with room to fill in.

Swing Mechanics: Displayed quick hands as he attacks the baseball with a slight uphill path. Produces a nice swing actions for a ‘23 with more coming as he plays more.

Hit: Made great contact overall throughout his round with carry.

Power: 80 mph exit velocity. Bat has life to it.

Offensive Projection: TBD for now.

Run: 7.86 seconds 60-yard.
Field: 2.06-2.14 second pop time. Did a nice job receiving it both during pop times and in bullpens at the event. Transfer process showed quickness for a ‘23. Footwork plays too.

Throw: 72 mph from behind the plate presenting arm strength and accuracy. Athlete that has potential behind the plate.  
Defensive Projection: Catcher.

7/17/18
At third base he plays low and under control. Feet are quiet yet efficient. Hands are soft with above average ball skills for class. Solid young player whos obviously been coached well showing feel for the game on both sides of the ball. At the plate the righty starts in a tall, open stance. Compact stroke on a nice, level path. Creates leverage and energy with lower half. Strone kid with above average hand speed through the zone. Impressive combination of feel and pop for class. Behind the dish he also shows abilities ahead of the curve for class. Mechanically sound catch and throw guy with a confident arm.

Starts in a tall, open setup at the plate. Simple yet efficient load into a balanced launch. Swing is short/compact with downhill tendencies at times. Swing shows more present strength than speed through the zone. Line drive swinger in general. Third baseman that plays under control in his approach. Quiet feet with smooth actions. Ball skills look to be above average through fielding. Also worked out behind the dish. Skill set is above average in general. Feet work well, creating both direction and gaining ground during transfer. Exchange skills are timely and smooth. Ball comes out well with present accuracy.

6/27/18
A right-handed hitter at the plate that starts in a balanced setup. Shows a very fluid load prior to taking a slightly downhill path to contact. Strong kid with feel for the barrel. Ball jumps off the barrel. Run producer qualities to swing. Really liked what I saw behind the dish. Advanced catch and throw skill for class with an accurate arm. In bullpens he looked to be able receive at an above average clip as well. In the outfield he plays under control with quiet feet. Plays with obvious confidence and above average ball skills through fielding. Loose arm that projects for more strength.
