Has above average bat speed, level short swing plane and balanced finish. Pull side approach. While catching, throw downs to second were maxed at 76 mph. While catching, throw downs to second topped out at 76 mph; showed his ability to throw runners out with an efficient pop time of 1.99-2.06. Clocked a 60 time of 7.45 at the event.

Starts in an athletic quiet stance with a compact load, then uses a small leg kick. Bat speed is quick, uses a simple upward swing plane and good extension on his finish. Behind the plate, his best throw downs of the day reached a max velocity of 71 mph; has a clean transfer, sure hands, and consistent feet. had quick feet and transfers on his throw downs, recording a 1.95-2.03 pop time. Calm setup with some flexibility. Showed a quick arm action and a high ¾ slot.
C/3B, (2024) Olentangy Liberty, OH. 6-foot, 220-pound sturdy build. At the plate, Meyer had a max exit velocity of 91 mph. (67.8 mph bat speed average). (19.8 mph hand speed average). Begins in a wide balanced stance with a big controlled load, then uses a controlled leg kick. Bat speed is above average, exhibits an upward rotational swing plane and a front foot good extension on his finish. While catching, his best recorded throw to second was clocked at 70 mph; shows athletic feet, soft consistent hands, and a clean transfer. showed his ability to throw runners out with an efficient pop time of 1.97-2.01. Some flexibility and athletic setup. During the event, recorded a 60 time of 8.0.
Hit: Physical bat from the right side. Smoother load that leads to a mostly balanced launch. Aggressive swinger. Ball jumps when squared. One of the louder rounds we saw.
Power: Gap pop.
Offensive Projection: Run producer.

Max BP Distance: 333ft.
Field: Above average skill set across the board behind the dish. Mechanically sound with quick feet and above average receiving abilities. Pop times are ahead of the curve for class. Also worked out at third base where he showed fluid, smooth actions with ball skills on par for class.
Throw:
Defensive Projection: C/UTL.
Scouting Notes: Showed some things to like on the mound. Showed feel for the delivery incorporating efficient movement patterns. Works exclusively from the stretch which helps with repeatability. Fastball should easily gain velo as he matures. Mixes in a knuckleball which a nice wrinkle offering with dance through the zone. Completing repertoire is a tight breaking ball with up and down action.
Fastball: 70-73mph.
Fastball Spin Rates: 1820-1915rpm.
Breaking Ball: 57-58mph.
Breaking Ball Spin Rates: 1590-1620rpm.
Changeup: KN:54-56mph.
6-foot, 220-pound solid frame. From behind the plate he has fluid footwork with linear energy created on his throws to second base. Throws with a clean, short arm action through a high ¾ slot with pop times ranging from 2.19-2.26 and a velocity of 63 mph. On the mound he throws with regular effort to his delivery with a vertical leg lift landing in a straight line at foot strike. Throwing from a low ¾ slot his fastball was true through the zone at 68-71 mph. Curveball has an 11/5 shape with depth and gradual break between 61-62 mph. Cutter has a tight cutting action running into a left-handed hitter between 58-61 mph. Knuckleball has tumbling movement with sinking action at 61-62 mph. Right-handed hitter showed strength during his round of BP. Starts from a balanced stance. Hands have a fluid load to his back shoulder and finishes his swing with a two-handed follow through. Reached an exit velocity of 80 mph. Ran an 8.96 60-yard dash.

Fastball: Arm side run action at 67mph.
Curveball: Average depth with little bite and loopy action at 59mph.
Changeup: Little arm side fade at 56-58mph.
Hit: Right handed bat that starts out in a balanced setup. Swing is all one fluid motion. Simple loading sequence with a slight inward turn producing on time cuts. Bat path stays level through the zone. Varied ball flight throughout BP.
Power: Line drive guy at this point.
