Positional Profile: C/OF

Body: Athletic 5-foot-10, 175-pound build.

Hit: RHH. Sets up in narrow, open stance with rhythm in his hands. Small leg lick and stride to square, uphill swing path. Gap to gap approach with hard line-drives and fly-balls during BP.

Power: 84 mph exit velocity from the tee and 93 in BP. Shows good bat speed.

Arm: RH. C - 70 mph. Short arm action from an over-the-top release slot.

Defense: 1.97-2.27 pop times. Narrow stance with sure hands and quick feet. Clean exchanges on throw downs with adequate blocking and receiving ability. 

Run: 7.26 runner in the 60.

Braden Harper: C/OF, (2022) Noble, OK. 5-foot-10, 170-pound solid frame. At the plate, Harper clocked an exit velocity of 83 mph. Begins in a balanced stance with a tight load, then uses a small leg kick. Bat speed is above average, exhibits short swing plane and high finish. He found lots of barrels through his rounds. Gap to gap approach. Behind the plate, recorded a pop time of 2.09-2.22, he produced a position velocity of 70 mph during throw downs; showed a clean exchange, consistent feet and sure hands. Narrow setup with some flexibility. Showed an-over-the-top slot with a short arm action. During the event, ran the 60-yard dash in 7.31.

Displayed a solid 5-foot-9, 170-pound frame with some physicality. The right-handed hitter begins with a square, even stance utilizing a lift-and-replace stride to initiate his swing. Demonstrated sink into a strong lower-half while entering the zone on a slightly uphill barrel path. Generated pull-side pop and advanced bat-speed while hitting into a stiff front side, registering an 88 mph bat-exit velocity from the tee. Recorded a 7.51 60-yard dash. The primary backstop flashed a soft glove hand while receiving and notched pop times of 2.00-2.22. Used smooth transfers and a fluid, high ¾ arm-slot yielding accurate 71 mph throws on the bag. Showcased comfortability while blocking creating soft walls and downward angles towards the plate. The infielder showed adequate feet that arrived to the ball on time allowing for accurate 74 mph throws across the infield. Athleticism was evident on the slow roller play with ability to control his body.

A 5-foot-9, 165-pound athletic frame; C/SS. At the plate, the right-handed hitter had an exit velocity of 83 mph. Began in a balanced a tall  stance, had a smooth load and used a short stride just before his swing. Shows a flat swing plane and average bat speed, and he ends his swing with a level finish. Found some barrels in BP. His throw downs to second were maxed at 71 mph for showcase pop times of 1.95-2.22; showed consistent hands, a clean exchange and quick feet. From the outfield, he displayed a position velocity of 76 mph . Showing decent accuracy to the bag, he used a high ¾ slot with a short arm action. He clocked a time of 7.43 in the 60-yard dash.

A 5-foot-9, 160-pound frame. Offensively, the right-handed hitting catcher hits from an athletic, slightly closed right handed stance with strong, positive movements to the baseball. Hands work slightly lifted off the back shoulder, barrel and hands work to strong launch position when front foot strides and lands. Positive attack angle, small dip in back shoulder. Bat speed and pop has increased, more to come. Swing has lift to all fields, mostly barrels, 84 mph exit velo. Runs a 7.19 60. Defensively, receives from athletic, low squat, shows flexibility and receives baseball clean. Tall to throw, quick feet with clean transfers, lacks arm strength and carry, ball came out at 69 mph for showcase pop times of 2.09 - 2.28.

A 5-foot-9, 160-pound developing frame. Offensively, the right-handed hitter bats from an even and balanced stance with rhythm throughout. Uses a rocking load with a very short smooth stride. Hand path is slightly uphill into a high finish. In BP, shows an all field and flat approach, best to the opposite field, mostly barrels, 84 exit velo. Runs a 7.21 60. Defensively, shows an athletic slightly open set-up as his right foot is set up slightly deeper than his left receiving with soft hands before sticking pitches and showing developing footwork to second base.Throws down with a high-3/4 arm action, 69 mph down to second base and some accuracy for showcase pop times of 2.11-2.30.

A developing 5-foot-9, 160-pound frame with plenty of room to add size and strength. Offensively, the right-handed hitter bats from a slightly closed, front foot heavy, and quiet set-up with his hands set at his belly button. Uses a smooth and moderate leg kick and big hand load before pulling his hands through a slightly uphill path with some length. In BP, shows an all fields and flat approach, finds some barrels, 78 mph exit velo. Runs a 7.71 60. Defensively, shows advanced receiving and average blocking. Throws down with clean footwork and exchanges, stands straight up quickly, arm stroke is short coming through a high-¾ slot, produced showcase pop times of 2.33-2.50 seconds at 66 mph with above average accuracy.
