Curveball has 11/5 shape with rolling action at 70-72 mph, mostly strikes. In the game, gave up not hard contact, punching out two of the five batters he faced.

6/04/19

The 6-foot-3, 180-pound shortstop featured a lean, projectable frame with advanced feel for his body. The right-handed hitter begins with a balanced, even stance utilizing a short lift-and-replace stride to initiate his swing. Hands start with slight movement at the ear moving straight back to the shoulder to get into launch position. Demonstrated an easy, repeatable swing with advanced barrel awareness. Displayed a slightly uphill bat-path through contact generating easy backspin to both gaps. Registered an 89 mph bat-exit velocity  and ran a 6.99 60-yard dash. The shortstop showcased easy movements while playing low to the ground with adequate footwork. A soft glove-hand turns over at the last second before fielding. On throws, showed a moderate takeaway with a short and quick over-the-top arm-stroke on the way forward yielding 83 mph arm-strength from his position.

2/03/19

A 6-foot-3, 175-pound lean and athletic frame with lots of room to add size and strength. On the mound, the right-hander works only from the stretch with a high and athletic leg kick before striding down the mound and finishing balanced. In BP, shows a middle approach with a flat swing plane. Loose swing and repeat well.  Flashed pop in barrel and more in swing than he shows, 86 mph exit velo. Runs a 6.93 second 60. Defensively, shows controlled actions with above average hands and feet move well to field. Throws with a loose arm stroke at different angles, with average length coming through a ¾ slot. 10/29/17
A very projectable 6-foot-1, 145-pound frame with some athleticism and plenty of room to add size and strength. On the mound, works from a deliberate wind-up and uses his long legs to get down the mound well. Uses a full arm circle coming through an over the top slot. Fastball shows excellent downhill tilt, especially down in the zone, 75-77 mph. Curveball has 11/5 shape at 65-68 mph with some late depth. Slider sits 73-74 with tight, cutting action. In the game, when Landry was down in the zone, he was very hard on hitters. Offensively, the right-handed hitter bats from a back leg heavy, narrow set-up with some rhythm in his hands. Uses a moderate stride with a smooth load, flat to the ball with a high finish, some length. In BP, shows a middle to pull approach with lift, mostly barrels, much more pop than his 77 mph exit velo would suggest, a solid round. Runs a 7.34 60. Defensively, shows deliberate and controlled actions with above average hands. Throws from a ¾ slot with a short arm stroke in the back with some accuracy at 77 mph. In the game, was patient at the plate.
