Seminole State commit. A broad shouldered 5-foot-10, 170-pound frame packed with strength. On the mound, the right-hander works from a slightly up tempo delivery with a moderate up, down, and out leg kick before striding far down the mound with quality leg drive. Arm action is long in the back with a quick change of direction in the back before coming a high-¾ slot with elite arm speed. Fastball sits 86-89 mph flashing heavy arm-side run, mostly strikes, curveball shows 10/4 shape with rolling action. In the game, McAtee struck out five of the eight hitters he faced in two innings of work.

A durable and strong 5-foot-10, 170-pound frame. On the mound, the right-handed pitcher works from an up-tempo delivery creating solid leg-drive towards the plate. The righty commands a moderate takeaway in the back before generating a quick and violent, high ¾ arm-action resulting in fastballs ranging from 82-87 mph with arm-side run. His 66-67 mph curveball showcased 11/5 rotation and was two-plane at times. Demonstrated feel for a 73-74 mph changeup that featured small arm-side fade.

Seminole State JC commit. Top 10 player in the 2020 class. The 5-foot-10, 170-pound athletic right-handed hitter starts from a slightly crouched, square stance utilizing a lift-and-replace stride to initiate his swing. Hands used a short load with rhythm to get into the zone early, allowing him to stay on plane with the baseball. In BP, shows a gap to gap approach with occasional lift, some barrels, 89 mph exit velocity. Runs a 7.14 60-yard dash. Defensively, shows smooth actions with solid footwork and soft hands. Displayed an accurate 78 mph arm-strength on throws that featured a moderate takeaway followed by a short, quick arm-stroke across the diamond.

A 5-foot-10, 180-pound frame packed with strength. On the mound, the right-hander works from a slightly up tempo delivery with rhythm and a high leg kick coiling at the top before striding to the dish with quality leg drive, finishing with a big recoil. Arm action shows fluid and controlled moderate length in the back before a quick change of direction at the bottom of the arm stroke coming through a high-¾ slot with elite arm speed. Fastball keeps its plane as it jumps to the plate at 87-89 mph, some strikes. Curveball shows 11/5 shape with consistent and gradual depth at 70-71 mph.

A  5-foot-10, 180-pound frame packed with strength. On the mound, the right-hander works from a slightly up tempo delivery with rhythm and a high leg kick coiling at the top before striding to the dish with quality leg drive, finishing with a big recoil. Arm action shows fluid and controlled moderate length in the back before a quick change of direction at the bottom of the arm stroke coming through a high-¾ slot with elite arm speed. Fastball keeps its plane as it jumps to the plate at 87-89 mph, some strikes. Curveball shows 11/5 shape with consistent and gradual depth at 70-71 mph.

A 5-foot-8, 175-pound frame with a thick lower half and some strength throughout. On the mound, works from a uptempo delivery with a big swinging leg kick before gliding down the mound, striding open. Arm action is moderate in the back and comes through a low-¾ slot with arm strength and quickness. Fastball sits 82-84 mph with mostly 84s and shows consistent arm side run and sink, sprayed around the zone. Slider has big East to West shape with depth and controlled in the zone. Also mixed in a knuckleball that dances consistently at 65-66 mph. Offensively, the right-handed hitter bats from a upright and open set-up with rhythm in his hands. Uses a big reverse toe-tap load with a slight arm bar before launching the barrel with advanced bat speed on a flat path through contact with a high finish. In BP, shows a flat, pull approach, almost all barrels, 90 mph exit velo. Runs a 7.45 60. Defensively, receives from a narrow base with average hands and blocking, starts very high in the crouch when throwing down, standing up early at times, throws from a ¾ slot with arm strength recording showcase pop times of 1.91-2.16, some accuracy. 

2/4/18
A 5-foot-8, 185-pound frame with strength. On the mound, works from an up-tempo delivery with high leg kick, strides open, and finishes towards the dish. Arm action is has moderate length in the back before coming through a ¾ slot. Fastball shows consistent and heavy sink and run, some strikes, 83-85 and touching 86 mph. Slider has big sweeping east-to-west shape, spins out at times, 65-68 mph. Knuckleball dances at times with late dive, 62-66 mph. Overall, as McAtee’s command continues to grow he will be a sought after prospect that will have the ability to really sink the fastball and spin the slider. 

A stocky and strong 5-foot-8, 175-pound frame. Offensively, the right-handed hitter bats from a balanced, even, and athletic set-up with some rhythm in his hands. Uses a big reverse toe-tap load before launching his hands on a flat path through contact, some length and advanced bat speed. In BP, shows a flat and pull approach with advance pop, some barrels early in the round and found mostly barrels late, 90 exit velo. Runs a 7.45 60. Defensively, catches from a very narrow base, shows good hands, developing blocker. Posted 1.91-2.16 showcase pop times, comes out of his crouch very early at times. Throws from a ¾ slot with arm strength and accuracy, 78 mph.

5/30/18
A durable 5-foot-8, 175-pound frame with strength throughout. On the mound, the right-hander works from an up-tempo delivery with a high leg kick and slight coil at the top before striding down the mound with quality leg drive. Arm action has moderate length in the back with a controlled and clean circle before exploding through a high-¾ slot with arm speed. Fastball sits 85-86 and touches 87 with occasional arm side run. Slider has east-to-west sweeping shape at 65-69 mph. In the game, McAtee gave up a hit and a walk before finding his rhythm and striking out the next four hitters on 13 pitches. 

A 5-foot-8, 175-pound frame with strength throughout. Offensively, the right-handed hitter bats from an even and balanced stance with rhythm in his low set hands. Uses a moderate leg kick and hand load before launching them on an uphill path through extension. In BP, shows a middle of the field approach with consistent lift, advanced pop, and mostly barrels with an outstanding 98 mph exit velo. Runs a 7.32 second 60. Defensively, receives from a balanced stance with soft hands. When throwing down, sits much higher in the crouch, jumping out early and throwing with a very short arm stroke through a high-¾ slot with some accuracy and elite arm strength, 78 mph to second base with showcase pop times of 1.91-2.14. In the game, went 0-for-3, putting the ball in play each time.
