Physical: Sturdy and compact 6-foot, 230-pound frame with a starter’s build / durability throughout and noticeable strength in the lower half. Mercer County CC commit.
Pitching: RHP - Starts off the left side of the rubber with a quick side rocker step, medium leg-lift with good sink into a strong backside with above average lower half drive towards the plate, easy high ¾ arm-slot with a full arm circle and low effort / generated slight downhill plane. FB ranged from 81-83 mph with plenty of spin (2315 max rpms per Trackman Baseball), mixed in a two plane 73-75 mph SL showing 2627 spin and swing and miss ability, countered with a 76-78 mph CH with slight arm-side fade and feel on the release.
Physical: 6-foot-0, 230 pounds; Durable, physical frame.
Pitching: Works with good tempo through a balanced delivery with a repeatable release. Long, fluid arm action to a clean 3/4 release. FB: T 78-84 MPH, 78-84 MPH. commands with life into the zone (avg :spin rate 2191rpm, 14.7 in vert, & 10.9 in. horz. Movement. SL: 71-75 MPH. commands glove side with frisbee action ( Avg: spin rate 2485rpm, 6in. horz movement).
6-foot, 230-pounder impressed with a quality three pitch mix in an efficient, repeatable delivery. Fastball sat 86-88 from a high 3/4 arm slot with command down in the zone. Curveball is an above average pitch with consistent, tight two-plane break at 73-75. Showcased advanced feel for his changeup with arm-side run at 77-79. Continues to be one of the top uncommitted pitchers in his class with command of three quality pitches and an advanced knowledge of how to attack hitters.
Estrada threw one of the most impressive bullpens of the day. 5-foot-11, 230-pound right-handed pitcher starts from a tall stack utilizing a high 3/4 arm-slot and advanced hip/shoulder separation to deliver 85-87 mph fastballs. Strong lower half helped create heavy, downhill movement. Featured a 75-76 mph tight curveball with 11/5 tilt and late break. 76-80 mph changeups showcased small arm-side-run with good sell.
