10/09/22

Physical: Long, athletic 5-foot-10, 140lb frame with RTF. 7.81 runner in the 60.

Offensively: LHH. Wide, upright stance at a slightly open starting position. Utilized a big leg-kick stride to initiate the swing through an aggressive, flat path into the hitting zone towards a two-handed finish. Recorded a mostly pull-side approach while staying connected to the ground, up to a T78 mph exit velocity via Trackman. Delivered a 62% line-drive rate, among the leaders.

Defensively: The primary outfielder worked from behind the ball, fielding off his left side with a soft glove-hand. Maintained pace over the toes and finished out of a H ¾ slot (74 mph). Created some straight-line energy to the plate with corner projection.

2/12/22

Physical: Lean, developing 5-foot-9, 125lb frame. 7.53 runner in the 60-yard dash.

Offensively: LHH - Upright stance with minimal extra going on; utilized an early barrel tip on the load with a leg-lift stride to initiate the swing through a flat path towards a moderate one-handed finish. Fell off balance at times, but caught some barrels, registering a 78% sweet spot. Natural contact traits and a direct top hand that worked short to the ball, up to a 79 mph bat-exit velocity at his peak, singles power at the moment.

Defensively: The outfielder showcased tracking skills in space with on-time footwork and adequate pace. Bent under the ball in the hips and kept moving fluidly towards the target. H ¾ slot with some accuracy up to 71 mph from his position.

6/22/21

Physical: 5-foot-7, 115 pounds; Athletic, slender build. 7.71 runner in the 60.

Offensively: LHH. Open setup, with feet shoulder width apart; flat bat to start. Loads straight back with a moderate leg kick for timing. Stays behind the ball while showing a strong lower half. Showed a short swing path with a late one hand finish.  More line drives than flyballs and groundballs with a peak exit velocity of 78 MPH via Trackman.

Defensively: Starts with an upright /tall setup; static during pre-pitch while fluid actions to the baseball. Hands work through the ball while standing up during transfer. Long arm swing  from a standard 3/4 arm slot.    OF - 66 MPH.
