Physical: Athletic and sturdy 6-foot-4, 200-pound frame with standout physicality in the build. 7.53 runner in the 60-yard dash. Offensively: RHH. Begins with a tall, open stance with the hands starting idle on the shoulder in the setup. Stayed relatively high with the posture throughout the swing, a methodical toe-tap stride initiated the hands through a flat barrel path with lift after contact. Hit into a stiff front side with some weight shift at impact allowing the barrel to whip through extension with ease creating loud contact on balls hit to the left side of the field. Peppered the LCF gap during batting practice with repetitive feel for the barrel, generated an impressive 33% hard hit rate and 96 mph bat exit velocity according to Trackman Baseball / maximum batted ball distance of 348 feet. Standout offensive performer at the Jr. Future Games and should continue to see his stock headed north as he keeps maturing and adding strength. Defensively: The first baseman featured feel around the bag with active footwork and medium center of gravity on the approach, fielded off of the left side of his body with ability to use inside turn footwork on double plays. Demonstrated an accurate, high ¾ slot on throws across the diamond with a medium arm circle. INF - 78 mph Pitching: RHP - Started from the middle of the rubber, side rocker step into a medium-high leg lift with quick pace to the delivery, gets out and directional towards the plate while driving off of a solid backside leg, landed balanced and over the front side, high ¾ arm-slot with a medium arm circle. FB ranged from 76-80 mph with an upwards of 2117 spin per Trackman Baseball, mixed in a quality 63-65 mph breaker with 11/5 tilt and late depth. Countered with a 74-75 mph straight CH which could use a couple extra ticks velocity difference between it and the FB.

2/23/20
Showcased a long and physical 6-foot-3, 195-pound frame with present feel for his frame and ease in his movements. The primary right-handed pitcher sat 81-82 mph with some crossfire out of a repeatable, high ¾ arm-slot using hip swivel. Mixed in a 66-67 mph curveball with 11/5 shape and bite across the zone. Countered with a 71-74 mph changeup thrown with occasional arm-side fade and advanced sell. The right-handed hitter begins with a tall, even stance utilizing a knee-knock stride to initiate a slightly uphill barrel path through the hitting zone. Generated a whippy barrel upon contact point with feel for extension through the ball. Displayed occasional pull-side lift with ability to stay on the ball to the right centerfield gap. Recorded an 87 mph bat-exit velocity during batting practice and ran a 7.88 60-yard dash. The first baseman demonstrated adequate feel around the bag with a low center of gravity creating range to both sides. A soft glove hand worked plus and minus through the ball and smooth transfers yielded accurate 78 mph arm-strength across the infield out of a high ¾ arm-slot.
