Defensively: Plus hip mobility sets Butler up for success. Athleticism in the crouch and quick twitch actions. Quick exchange times, with an efficient transfer where momentum is gained downward upon catch to begin the arm swing. Registered sub 2SEC pop times, while clocking a 78MPH throwing velo.

Offensively: RHH. Begins slightly open with barrel of bat pointing behind head. Lead leg and hands load in unison. Hands work slightly down and back with the barrel gaining early connection. Physical: Solid combination of athleticism and strength in a sturdy 6-foot-1, 195-pound frame with advanced feel for his body. 7.25 runner in the 60-yard dash. Lehigh University commit.

Offensively: RHH. Wide, open stance with the hands showing slight rhythm above the shoulder as the barrel points over the backside. Utilized a leg-hang stride to initiate a slightly uphill barrel path into the hitting zone. Stays relatively high with the posture throughout the swing, slots the bat head early while matching the plane of the pitch and jolts the hands through extension. Showed a mostly pull-side approach to the LCF gap but let the hands work with authority at the front of the plate. Generated natural backspin to the left side of the field showing the ability to hit for extra bases / RBI potential in the middle of a batting order. Athleticism in the lower half allowed for adjustability on offspeed pitches in game action. Recorded a peak bat-exit velocity of 96 mph according to Trackman Baseball / maximum batted ball distance of 372 feet (a bomb to LCF).

Defensively: The primary backstop featured advanced receiving abilities from a low setup with a soft glove hand at the catch point / sticks the low strike well, pop times ranged from 1.94-2.02 showing powerful/quick straight line footwork towards the target with a low center of gravity out of the crouch, demonstrated high level catch and throw skills out of an accurate high ¾ slot. The icing on the cake was the ability to block with ease on both sides of the plate, long frame but quick and rangy actions behind the plate and worked hard for his pitchers. C - 78 mph

One of the top uncommitted catching prospects statewide in his class. Worked out for us for a second consecutive weekend. On this date showcased a 93 mph bat exit velocity and ran a 7.39 60-yard dash. 80 mph arm strength behind the dish was a personal best with pop times of 1.97-2.02.

6-foot-1, 186-pound right-handed hitter starts from a slightly open stance and initiates his swing with a lift-and-replace stride. Physical hitter makes a hard move to his front side but stays behind the baseball well with a gap-to-gap approach. Registered a bat exit velocity of 90 mph and ran a 7.32 60-yard dash. Athletic receiver showcased the top pop time of the event at 1.98-2.05 on throws of 75 mph out of the crouch.
