Physical: Lean, wiry 6-foot, 165lb frame with quick-twitch available. 6.80 runner in the 60-yard dash.
Offensively: RHH - Top of the order presence showing some bend into the backside drive leg and calm hands to start. Utilized a leg-kick on-time with a hand pump for rhythm before launching through a flat path into the hitting zone. Good contact hitter that could adjust to different zones and hit the ball where it was pitched. Recorded a much improved 90 mph bat-exit velocity with gap to gap juice starting to surface. Bat-speed coming around, too in a balanced approach.
Defensively: The primary shortstop worked hard to get to the right side of the ball creating a good angle to the target. Clean lower half that gives him plenty of confidence to attack; notched an 85 mph arm-strength across with an accurate, moderate circle. Handled the play on the run easily from multiple slots.
2/27/21
Physical: 6’ 165lb SS/3B ran a 7.03 60 yard dash. Thin frame with room to fill out and continue to improve physical strength.

The swing is short and direct to the ball, working on a flat barrel path through the point of contact towards a fluid finish. Gets tied up at times letting the ball travel too deep, but when contacting out in front generates hard barrels. Drove the ball from gap to gap in a quality round of batting practice. Registered an 86 mph bat-exit velocity per Trackman.
Defensively: Plays extremely low to the ground allowing for above average range to the glove hand side. Stays inside his shoulders with momentum and can control footwork on a multitude of routes, fields the ball in the middle of his body and gets the ball out fluidly on transfers, makes the play on the run with ability to throw from multiple arm angles. Long and whippy in the arm action on throws from a low ¾ slot. INF - 80 MPH.
Pitching: RHP sat 72-77 mph out of a slow tempoed, low ¾ arm-slot with quality command on the FB showing arm-side run, mixed a 64-67 mph CB for occasional strikes which featured slow, 11/5 shape. 67-68 mph CH demonstrated fade to the arm-side when thrown out in front.
