2/1515 Tarabek is a 6-foot-1, 180-pound right-handed hitter with very good bat speed (94-mph exit velo). He employs a knee-to-knee stride that loads him on his backside and has his head and body come forward with his foot strike. He holds his hands at a good launch point and bat angle, and he stays through contact well. Defensively, he has a strong (87-mph), whippy arm with good feet and hands. He also ran a 7.13 60-yard dash.
8/2/14 Tarabek flashed one of the top infield arms at the event at 88 mph across the diamond. The 6-foot, 170-pound middle infielder showcased the ability to play the ball on the move and made plays from several arm angles during the course of the event. Tarabek showcased a 91 mph bat exit velocity and displayed the ability to drive both gaps during his round of batting practice on scout day.
2/15/14 Tarabek showed plus feet and fluid actions defensively with a very strong arm across the diamond. The sophomore topped all infield arms at 87 mph while making plays on the move. The 6-foot, 170-pound right-handed hitter has an athletic frame and appears to have room to add to his frame yet. Tarabek showcased an 85 mph bat exit velocity while barreling the baseball routinely.
9/29/13 Tarabek is a 6-foot, 170-pound middle infielder that showed advanced defensive skills with quick feet and throws of 81 mph across the diamond. He displayed the ability to make plays on the move and a fluid transfer. The right-handed hitter showcased excellent rhythm to his swing and the ability to barrel the baseball routinely with a bat exit velocity of 83 mph. Tarabek, currently ranked No. 12 in the PA Class of 2016, has an athletic frame and should develop some additional pop as his frame fills out.
6/18/13 Tarabek flashed signs of being one of the top middle infielders in the Class of 2016 statewide. The 5-foot-11, 165-pound middle infielder showcased quick feet, a fluid transfer, and the ability to make difficult plays look routine. Tarabek's 83 mph arm across the diamond should only get stronger as his athletic frame matures. He ran a 7.41 60-yard dash and took one of the top rounds of batting practice on the day. Tarabek hits out of a slightly open stance, displaying balance and rhythm throughout the swing.
