Pitching: Small sidestep with leg lift above the waist, sits into back side while glove arm gets up for shoulder tilt as stays in line, gets hip-shoulder separation accelerating arm through release to a balanced follow through. Long, fast arm swing to a high 3/4 release. FB: T84, 82-84 MPH. Has life through the zone. CB: 65-67 MPH. Sharp 11-5 break. SL: 71 MPH. Tight rotation with late break. CH: 72-75 MPH. Good sell with arm side fade.
5-foot-10, 160-pound righty sat 82-84 from a 3/4 arm slot with some effort to his delivery. Starts with a side rocker step and flashed a quick arm with some arm-side run to his fastball. Breaking ball has slurve shape at 67-71. Changeup at 69-70 is thrown with good intent.
5-foot-10, 160-pound right-handed hitter starts from a square stance and utilizes a toe-tap stride to initiate his swing. Displayed a strong lower half and a solid feel for the barrel while wearing out the middle of the field during batting practice. Registered a 78 mph bat exit velocity and ran a 7.84 60-yard dash. Showcased solid actions defensively while routinely playing through the baseball with good carry on throws of 76 mph across the diamond.
