Physical: 6-foot-2, 200LBS. Athletic RHP. West Virginia Commit.
Pitching: Sets up on 3B side of the rubber. Rocker step works into leg lift slightly below chest level. Glove works in collaboration with the leg lift. At glove break the arm works down and has some bend in the elbow. There is a slight stoppage of motion in the arm, yet the arm action is still fluid and whippy. Release for a high 3/4 arm slot. Upper body stays tall throughout the delivery. FB sat 90-92MPH while working in a CB and CH.
6/20/18
Athletic 6-foot-1, 185-pound frame. Primary pitcher sat 83-85 while touching 86-87 at times during his three innings of work. Starts his delivery with a short, side-rocker step and delivers from a mid-3/4 arm slot. Changeup is thrown with above average sell at 75-77 and curveball has good depth at 71-73. Very live arm that is likely to be upper 80s by this time next year. Two-way prospect ran a 7.60 60-yard dash and displayed 82 mph arm strength defensively. Size and defensive actions would be best suited for an eventual move to third base. The right-handed hitter starts from a slightly open stance and he initiates his swing with a leg-hang stride. Displayed an above average feel for the baseball in BP with a bat exit velocity of 84 mph. Went 5-for-7 with a triple in game action over two days.
8/17/17

Changeup is currently best secondary offering at 73-74 with some arm side run. Curveball displayed 11/5 rotation with limited break at this stage in its development. Right-handed hitter battled through a finger injury to take a solid round of batting practice. Starts from a slightly open stance and initiates his lower half with a leg-hang stride. An upper half dominated swing produced a bat exit velocity of 75 mph. Showcased a quick release from a 3/4 arm slot defensively with 73 mph arm strength across the diamond and ran a 7.30 60-yard dash.
