2018 PBR Future Games - Team Pennsylvania

2/9/19 - 6-foot-1, 200-pound left-handed pitcher uses a loose, high 3/4 delivery with a large hip-coil to deliver fastballs from 84-86 mph. Curveball featured at 70-72 with tight 1/7 rotation. Changeup was 77-80 mph with some sink and arm-side-fade.

10/28/18 - 6-foot, 190-pound uncommitted lefty was a standout for Team Pennsylvania at the 2018 PBR Future Games in August. DeLawrence sat 83-85 out of a high 3/4 arm slot on this day, down several ticks from the summer. His hip coil action and at times heavy arm-side run make him a difficult at bat for both right-handed and left-handed hitters. Curveball sat 68-71 with 1/7 shape while changeup was thrown with good sell at 77-79.

8/19/18 - Fresh off of an impressive performance as a member of Team Pennsylvania at the PBR Future Games where his fastball sat 87-88, DeLawrence was down in velo a bit on this day. The steady light rain had an effect but the lefty was still effect working at 82-84 from his high 3/4 arm slot. Workiing around four walks in three innings of work, DeLawrence yielded just one run while striking out four. His curveball was his go to pitch on this date sitting 71-72 with late 1/7 break.

10/28/17 6-foot, 175-pound lefty worked solely out of the stretch sitting 83-85 with late life and arm side run to his fastball out of a high 3/4 arm slot. A high knee stack and hip coil provides deception. Displayed an explosive leg drive and quick arm with solid command of three pitches. Changeup is thrown with intent showing similar run at 75-78. Curveball is an above average third pitch with 1/7 rotation at 65-67. Projects to add incremental velocity as his athletic frame continues to mature.
