6/15/16 - 60 Time: 7.26, Position Velocity:  IF-85, Exit Velocity: 93
6'2, 190-pound, RHH hits from a balanced and even stance and uses a leg kick and some simple and rhythmic hand movement to get himself going.  Lower half is explosive and fires quickly to give him some good separation and contribute to his impressive bat speed, back elbow gets tucked in to bring his barrel down into the zone early in the swing, swing path remains on the plane of the pitch and allows him to really get through balls and drive them deep into the gaps, stays behind the ball well and maintains balance throughout, showed the most consistent power of anyone at the TP Games, had 2 hits in game play and a home run in BP. Defensively, showed good hands and although his footwork could’ve been more fluid, he was always in position to make the play, longer exchange included a glove pat and led to a long arm action from an over-the-top slot to produce some strong throws with accuracy to be improved upon.

10/25/15 - The 6 foot 1, 195-pound prospect posted a 7.33 60 time and showed his best arm strength to date at 79 mph across the infield. Defensively, Hodge shows short arm action with a high-3/4 release, accuracy on throws, average arm strength, soft hands, fluid footwork with athletic corner actions. Offensively, Hodge shows fast bat speed from the right side and had a 93 mph exit velocity off the tee. Hodge hits from a balanced setup with a leg kick involved, drives the barrel through the zone with good lower half torque, has good overall balance, good approach, level swing with extension, showed off his power with a BP home run to left field. Hodge went 2 for 4 during game play. He projects as a middle of the order bat at the next level.

6/16/15 - The 6 foot 1, 192-pound prospect posted a 7.31 60 time. Defensively Hodge had a position velocity of 75 mph across the infield (77 at previous event). Hodge showed soft hands and average footwork. Has average arm strength with accuracy on his throws. Offensively from the right side Hodge showed good bat speed and had a 91 mph exit velocity off the tee. Hits from a balanced setup with a short stride and explodes with his lower half. Hodge is a power/pull type hitter. Has a good approach at the plate and really attacks the ball. Will be a prospect to keep an eye on in the future, has to improve on arm strength and overall quickness. Hodge went 2-for-5 in game play with two singles.

2/7/15- The 6-foot-1, 188-pound SS ran a 7.44 60-yard dash time and had a 77 mph position velocity across the infield. Defensively Hodge had soft hands and fluid footwork, showed natural instincts and a clean exchange, needs to improve on side to side quickness. At the plate Hodge hit from a balanced setup with a leg kick involved, showed good balance and fast bat speed, had good extension and has the ability to hit for power, Hodge had an exit velocity off the tee of 89mph, Hodge showed good projectability.

1/17/15 - The 6 foot 1, 188-pound prospect showed good projectability and athleticism, had an exit velocity off the tee of 88 mph, ran a 4.7 home to first base time , showed good bat speed, balanced set up with a slight leg kick, good fluid rhythm, aggressive, gap to gap type hitter with power potential. Position velocity across the infield was 76 mph, showed soft hands, fluid footwork, long exchange, natural instincts, needs to improve on getting quicker, has a strong and athletic build, player to definitely keep an eye on in 2017 class.

11/1/14 - 6-foot-1, 185-pound prospect is a big/strong body type. Flashed some projectable skills to go along with size. Starts from a balanced stance, smooth load, short stride, slight front hip jerk gives him an uphill swing path, hands stay back with a stiff front side, drives barrel through the zone with a strong back half, good balance, shows power potential, 82 mph tee exit velocity, ran 4.76 home to first, took solid round of batting practice barreling most balls hit, Was 0-for-3 in game play with two hard hit balls. Moves well with quick defensive instincts, shows accuracy from the high 3/4 arm slot and short action, 77 mph velocity across the diamond, soft hands, quick release, good lateral movement, fields ball athletically while playing through it. With current skill set and potential to improve, he is a prospect to follow.
