2/10/19
2020 RHP Benny Roebuck had himself a day as well. The 6-1 right-hander was impressive during his time on the mound. His fastball sat 85-88 mph working out of a ¾ slot. The pitch shows slight arm-side run while working on a downward plane.Roebuck offered two types of breaking balls. The curveball has an 11/5 shape the pitch is still developing and shows a little early at 70-71 mph. At 73-75 mph the slider is the better of the two breaking pitches. With a late two plane sweeping action the pitch shows swing and miss potential. Roebuck also offered a 78-80 mph changeup. The pitch has deceptive arm action with regular fade.

The righty shows rhythm through a compact and efficient delivery. Tilt and counter rotation of the upper body create some deception. Works in-line with some effort. A strike thrower, Roebuck showed the ability to fill the zone with all of his offerings. He still has some room to add more strength and be a candidate for another velocity jump before this summer.

7/2/18
Really liked what I saw from Roebuck. Really mobile with athletic actions on the bump. A strike thrower that will fill up the zone with four quality offerings. Continues to climb in velocity, getting it up to 87 mph on this day. Spins two breaking balls with the slider being the more developed, sharper of the two. Changeup offers both run/dive and was consistently in the zone. A D1 arm that earned a Future Games invite with his performance.

6/6/18
6-foot, 180-pound. Right-handed pitcher with athletic build. Delivery is compact and fluid, working in good direction to the plate. Roebuck has presence on the mound. Fastball works downhill out of a ¾ slot with late arm side run at 80-85 MPH. Breaking ball is already swing and miss quality. The pitch is sharp with 11/5 shape at 64-67 MPH. Roebuck is a must follow through the summer.

7/25/17
Right-handed pitcher with a fluent delivery to the plate. Arm moves through a ¾ arm slot with a loose arm. Polished for his age. Front foot lands closed as he finishes in line to the plate. The righty utilizes his lower half well with solid back leg push. Fastball has occasional arm side run and works downhill. Throws the offering with intent and conviction. Spins his 11/5 breaker well. The pitch has depth and some sharpness to it. Should develop into an above average offering as velo increases.
