Jones works with rhythm in his delivery, coiling over the back leg with controlled effort from a ¾ slot. He generated swing-and-miss throughout while minimizing hard contact. His fastball sat 85-87 mph, topping at 88 mph with 2200+ rpm and arm-side run. Jones continued to show well in front of our scouts, standing in at a physical and strong 6-foot-2, 224-pound frame. Drop and drive, over the top delivery with a lively fastball that plays well up in the zone sitting 83-86 mph (T87) throughout the outing to pair well with a sweeping slider that sat in the mid-70s and earned a number of swing and misses throughout a two inning outing where he struck out six walking three. The pitch mix and physicality makes him an intriguing uncommitted option for schools seeking arms who are currently performing in-game and yet have remaining untapped potential.

+ RHP Ben Jones (Mukwonago, 2026) continues to be a guy who continues to improve. Jones was measured at 6-foot-2, 224 pounds with an extremely strong and sturdy frame. We saw the big righty up to 86 mph with a quick arm at the Wisconsin State Games in July and he showed up pumping the heater up to 89 mph with some carry and lift through the hitting zone. He featured a couple of different breaking balls with some lateral sweep to the pitch and a useful change up to go with it. It was yet another intriguing look at Ben Jones who continues to tick up with his stuff and overall performance.
