4.21.18 - Illinois State commit. 6-foot-1, 185-pound left-handed hitting outfielder, lean athletic frame. Hits three-hole, center and right field. Highly offensive prospect, balanced approach with a knack for finding the barrel. Sprays to all fields with line drive type contact, hard contact guy, speed will ear extra bases. 4.25-4.35 down the line, 4.51 on the turn of a triple. Defensively can play any of the three outfield spots, precise route runner, heavy communicator in the outfield.

7.11.17 - Illinois State commit. Currently ranked No. 8 in the Wisconsin Class of 2018 and No. 291 in the PBR Overalls. 6-foot-1, 185-pound left-handed hitting outfielder. Balanced setup at the plate, short leg lift stride with a smooth load and good balance. Line drive gap to gap hitter with a level swing path. Strength thru contact with 95 mph exit velocity from a tee. Ran the 60 at 6.87. Defensively has a long arm action from an over the top slot. Accurate throws with carry, longer exchange. Threw 85 mph from the outfield.  

7.7.17 - Illinois State commit. Lean athletic frame, projects. Left-handed hitter with a presence in the box, balanced and easy hitter, loose hands, barrel aware. Two-run triple in first at bat, above average runner.

6/1/17 - 6-foot-1, 180-pound left-handed hitting outfielder with a strong frame. At the plate hits from a crouched, open setup. Short path, generates fast bat speed. Went 1-3 in game with a single up the middle off a 90 mph fastball. 4.55 on the turn. Showed off a strong arm from the outfield in pregame. Accurate throws with carry to the plate. 

2.26.17 - Illinois State commit. Currently ranked No. 10 in the WI class of 2018. Added more strength to his frame this winter now 6-foot-1, 180-pound left-handed hitting OF/RHP. At the plate hits from a balanced setup, hands load up with a leg lift stride and excellent balance. Short, uphill swing path with fluid rhythm and explosive bat speed. Showed strength thru contact with 96 mph exit velocity from a tee. Ran the 60 at 6.92. Defensively has a long arm action from an over the top slot. Throws showed carry throwing 88 mph from the outfield. Athletic defender with fluid footwork and a clean exchange while playing thru the baseball. On the mound works from a high ¾ arm angle with a long arm action. Drop and drive delivery with a high front side. Works in line with home plate with a square landing and some rhythm. Fastball has downhill tilt at 83-84 topping out at 86 mph for strikes down in the zone. Curveball has 12-6 shape with depth at 68-71 mph. Changeup was firm with occasional sinking action at 74-77 mph.

10.8.16 - Illinois State recruit playing for Hitters Baseball, showed off an impressive left-handed stroke by going 2-for-2, including a laser triple over the right fielder’s head that allowed him to show off his speed.  Peterson is a physical 6-foot-1, 180-pound athletic outfielder who also pitches.

Future Games 2016 - 6-foot-1, 180-pound left-handed hitting outfielder, lean athletic frame. Left-handed bat has upside, barrel aware, disciplined approach, good hand eye. Bat path stays on top of the baseball, line drive approach with the ability to backspin the baseball, gap to gap approach. Hands work extremely well to generate bat speed, 97 mph exit velocity from the tee. 6.95 runner in the 60. Well above average corner outfield defender, possible centerfielder, actions play through the baseball in stride. Arm plays over the top, 86 mph.

2/28/16 - Currently ranked No. 17 in the Wisconsin Class of 2018. 6-foot, 175-pound left-handed hitting outfielder. Offensively hits from a tall, narrow setup with a short stride, and high hand set. Line drive gap to gap hitter with a short path and fast bat. Showed strength thru contact with 94 mph exit velocity from a tee. Ran the 60 at 7.33. Defensively has a short arm action from an over the top arm slot. Throws showed carry at 84 mph from the outfield. Plays thru the ball with athletic actions and fluid footwork.

6/8/15 - 6-foot, 165-pound, left-handed hitting outfielder with a thin build. At the plate hits from a crouched stance with a high back elbow. Showed a quick bat with a level swing path. Bat projects well. Down the line at 4.51 on a groundout. Young player, starting for Wilmot’s varsity team.
