9/13/20

2021 Milwaukee recruit. Big-armed righty who stands 6-foot-1, 210 pounds. Low-spin (1800-1900s) fastball up to 94 mph. Worked mostly 91-92 with some hard, late, under the bat sink at times. Mixed a hard change-of-pace at 84-85 (1400 spin rate). Flashed a work-in-progress breaking pitch and repeated a simple, yet high effort delivery.

7/23/20

Wisconsin-Milwaukee commit, one of the top-ranked pitching prospects in Wisconsin. 6-foot, 185-pound right-handed pitcher, strong lower half. Drop and drive type delivery, works online. Short connected arm action, clean and quick, above average arm strength. Fastball sits 89-91 mph, topped at 92, plays with some sink, low spin rate at 1,800 to 2,000 rpm. Breaking ball is hard and sharp, tight 10/4 action, 75-77 mph. Changeup plays with sink and fade, power action, 83-85 mph.

7/03/20

6-foot, 185 pounds; athleticism attached to thick, muscled-up lower half. One of the state’s most live arms with big arm strength; fastball sat 90-92 mph velocity with relative ease early on, ticked down into the 87-89 range later. Fastball features some hard, late arm-side run that he showed he could spot on both edges of the plate, locking up hitters on called strikes. The changeup is the best offspeed for him right now, a firm pitch, 82-85 mph, that tunnels well with similar hard run/sink that breaks late. The breaking ball is an aggressive 72-74 mph offering, flashed bite, especially in warm-ups, so he’s still harnessing it. He made it through five allowing just one run on two hits, one walk, and he struck out five.
