The Rock Valley commit had a nice week at the plate going 8-for-12 with four walks, HBP, and homered both Monday and Tuesday. Drove in nine runs on the week with two stolen bases.
Rock Valley JC recruit, currently ranked inside the top-50 inside the state’s senior class, listed at a projectable and twitchy 5-foot-10, 142 pound frame. Started at shortstop and hit fifth in the Oconomowoc lineup, going 3-for-4 with a home run and three RBIs. The left-handed hitter is swinging a hot bat to start, consistently getting his “A” swing off while making more contact this spring with more game power showing up early. Defensively at shortstop, Schlosser plays with athletic actions and steady hands with enough arm strength to stick on the left-side of the infield.
Rock Valley JC commit, currently ranked No. 47 in the state’s senior class. Still projectable, standing at 5-foot-10, 142 pounds. Started at short and hit in the five spot for the Raccoons in the win against one of the top teams in the state. Defensively, Schlosser plays with natural actions making a number of plays with ease on the day, average range to both sides with arm strength that plays up and will continue to play from the left-side moving forward. At the plate, the left-handed hitter went 1-for-2 on the day with feel for the barrel. On the mound Schlosser got the win in relief, striking out three across two innings allowing one hit. The arm action works on the mound, running his fastball up to 89 mph multiple times while spinning a quality breaking ball in the low-70s.

INF Luke Schlosser (Oconomowoc, 2025) is a wiry, left-handed hitting middle infielder with as strong of a feel to hit as almost any player in Saturday’s event. Schlosser utilizes a narrow set-up with low hands to get into a strong hitting position on-time. His relaxed hands work into an uphill path, creating elevation to the pull-side and up-the-middle. His 7.23 60-yard time and 91.9 mph exit velocity showed solid tools across the board. Defensively, Schlosser has clean feet with soft hands and aggressive actions through the ball. It’s a loose arm that plays from multiple slots, reaching 90 mph across the diamond. His quality actions and strong arm should enable the Oconomowoc native to stick at shortstop long-term.

Schlosser is listed at an athletic 5-foot-10, 145 pounds with quick-twitch traits attached to his game. Schlosser opened the event by impressing during batting practice, making easy, rhythmic left-handed contact while being repeatedly on the barrel, spraying liners to all fields. He kept up his impressive showing by taking arguably the top defensive round of the day. Schlosser looks like a true middle infielder, with quick feet that play well both to his forehand and backhand, and he unleashed throws to first the topped 86 mph across, and from multiple angles. Schlosser was one of the winners from this event and is a follow sophomore moving forward.
