7/11/17 - UW-Milwaukee commit. Currently ranked No. 10 in the Wisconsin Class of 2018. 6-foot-7, 215-pound left-handed hitting third baseman with a lanky frame, room to add more strength. Balanced setup at the plate. Short stride with good balance. Short, uphill swing path with loose hands. Line drive, pull hitter. 91 mph exit velocity from a tee. Ran the 60 at 7.13. Defensively has a loose arm action from a high ¾ slot. Arm showed easy carry across the infield with accurate throws. Threw 80 mph across the infield. Athletic actions, moves well for size with a clean exchange. 

7/7/16 - UW-Milwaukee commit. 6-foot-4, 195-pound left-handed hitting third baseman with  a lanky frame and room at add strength. At the plate hits from an upright balanced setup with a lower hand set. Short, uphill swing path with good feel for the barrel, and plate coverage. Works gap to gap, makes consistent hard contact. Went 2-3 with two singles in game.

2/21/16 - UW-Milwaukee commit. Currently ranked No. 11 in Wisconsin class of 2018. 6-foot-4, 195-pound left-handed hitting third baseman with a lanky frame. Defensively has a loose arm action from a high ¾ arm slot. Athletic actions with fluid footwork and soft hands. Threw 81 mph across the infield. Offensively hits from a tall, slightly open stance with a smooth load and good balance. Loose easy hands create plus batspeed. Fluid rhythm at the plate. Showed strength thru contact with 91 mph exit velocity from a tee. Ran the 60 at 7.32.
1/17/16 - Verbally committed to Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
7.20.15 - 6-foot-3, 180-pound left-handed hitting infielder, long projectable frame, slender build. Bat shows projection, open stance, tall setup, short stride back to even. Loose hands, whippy bat, good approach, gap to gap type. 85 mph exit velocity from the tee. Defensively showed actions on the infield, clean exchange, plays through the baseball with a wider base than most. Arm action is loose and athletic, 77 mph across the infield. On the mound arm worked similarly and gets down the hill. Fastball played with sink down in the zone, 77-78 mph, touched 79 mph. Curveball has 11/5 shape, gradual action, 69 mph. Flashed a changeup at 73 mph.
3.1.15 - High ceiling freshman, 6-foot-3, 180-pound left-handed hitting two-way player, lean athletic frame, younger brother of 2016 graduate Matt DeYoung. Projects best with the bat, advanced hit tools. From the left side stance is open, smooth load, short stride, gets lower half involved and maintains strong balance. Good barrel awareness, hard contact, loose athletic swing with slight uppercut, power potential swing. Short path with extension, fluid hitter with bat speed. 84 mph exit velocity from the tee. Defensively showed some actions, hands work, size and footspeed will eventually move him to a corner position. Arm played at 84 mph across the infield, loose arm action that can play athletically. On the mound has a clean arm action, high ¾ slot. Fastball has slight run, 74-75 mph, topped at 77 mph. Curveball has 12/6 shape, 62-64 mph. changeup has slight arm side run, 69-70 mph.
5.7.14 -6-foot, 160-pound lanky, left handed hitting two-way player with projectable frame. At the plate he has a tall, open stance, maintains balance through contact. Incorporates the lower half well. Swing is short and uphill with above average bat speed, pull side approach. Exit velocity was 81 mph off a tee. On the infield he displayed solid hands, fluid footwork and clean exchanges. Arm works short and loose from high ¾ slot, 69 mph with carry and accuracy. Ran a 7.65 60. On the mound he uses a delivery with regular effort. Arm works from a high ¾ slot. Does a good job of throwing downhill with all pitches. Fastball 68-73 mph with running action. Showed command of the changeup, throwing it 63-68 mph with fastball arm speed and consistent sinking action. Curveball was 62-63 mph.
