FRESNO, CALIF. - As an open event, this was conducted as a straight traditional showcase, 60 yard run, BP round (with Blast Motion sensors and TrackMan utilized for gathering of various data and metrics), defensive workouts, and pitchers ending the day on the mound throwing 15-20 pitch sessions.

LISTED IN ORDER OF MAX EXIT VELOCITY
AJ Cox, Monache (CA), 2023
Positional Profile: 3B
Physical: 6-3, 200-pounds; Long, athletic build. 7.74 runner in the 60.
Offensively: RHH. Even setup, with feet just outside his shoulders; upright bat position. Drops hands on the way back with a slight leg-kick for timing. Drifts into contact while showing an aggressive lower half. Showed a slight lift to the ball with a high finish. More fly balls than line drives and ground balls with a peak exit velocity of 100 MPH via Trackman. Physical hitter with legitimate power potential with strong barrel awareness.
Defensively: Starts with a balanced setup; uses prep hop while sitting back. Hands are underneath the body while funneling to the hip before transfer. Moderate arm circle from a high-3/4 arm slot. 3B - 80 MPH. Showed steadiness, calm approach, fair range with ability to gain ground with long strides.
Trey Morris, Washington Union (CA), 2025
Positional Profile: 1B/LHP
Physical: 6-1, 185-pounds; Broad shouldered, full build. 8.05 runner in the 60.
Offensively: LHH. Open setup, with feet narrow; has a pre-pitch bat waggle. Short take back with the hands with a knee knock leg kick for timing. Drifts into contact while showing an aggressive lower half. Showed a slight lift to the ball with two handed finish. More line drives than fly balls and ground balls with a peak exit velocity of 98 MPH via Trackman. Powerful, consistently on-plane, outstanding barrel awareness and bat control.
Defensively: Starts with a balanced setup; walks into ready position while displaying fluid actions to the baseball. Hands are soft with a clean transfer. Short take back from a standard 3/4 arm slot. 1B - 80 MPH. Calm, reads ball early, creates outstanding angles, gets rid of it quickly, works bag with clean footwork.
KC Karbowski, Heritage (CA), 2024
Positional Profile: 1B/LHP
Physical: 5-10, 179-pounds; Broad shouldered, sturdy build. 7.93 runner in the 60.
Offensively: LHH. Open setup, with feet just outside his shoulders; upright bat position. Loads straight back with a moderate leg kick for timing. Stays behind the ball while showing a strong lower half. Showed a flat swing path with two handed finish. More fly balls than line drives and ground balls with a peak exit velocity of 96 MPH via Trackman. Good feel for the barrel, short physical stroke with line drive swing plane.
Defensively: Starts with a balanced setup; walks into ready position while showing active feet. Hands are out in front while standing up during transfer. Long arm swing from a low-3/4 arm slot. 1B - 78 MPH. Slings ball, trusts glove hand, works to get below the ball when receiving at 1B, presents as a steady defender.
Easton Rogers, Redwood (Visalia, CA), 2024
Positional Profile: 1B/RHP
Physical: 6-4, 210-pounds; Long, athletic build. 7.78 runner in the 60.
Offensively: RHH. Open setup, with feet shoulder width apart; flat bat to start. Short take back with the hands with a moderate leg kick for timing. Drifts into contact while showing a strong lower half. Showed a flat swing path with a finish around the back. More line drives than fly balls and ground balls with a peak exit velocity of 94 MPH via Trackman. Showed feel for barrel and on-plane efficiency, power flashes now and projects further with his bat speed and strength gains.
Defensively: Starts with a balanced setup; uses prep hop while showing active feet. Hands are out in front while funneling to the hip before transfer. Moderate arm circle from a standard 3/4 arm slot. 1B - 79 MPH. Big target, gets ball out quickly, feet work well, displayed feel for nuanced footwork for the position.
Jack West, Clovis North (CA), 2025
Positional Profile: 3B/C
Physical: 6-2, 180-pounds; Long, lean build. 7.61 runner in the 60.
Offensively: RHH. Even setup, with feet wide spread; bat positioned at a 45 degree angle. Extended take back of the hands with an exaggerated leg kick for timing. Drifts into contact while showing a strong lower half. Showed a slight lift to the ball with two handed finish with occasional late one hand release. More fly balls than line drives and ground balls with a peak exit velocity of 94 MPH via Trackman. Powerful young hitter, long levers though controls barrel well and showed barrel awareness.
Defensively: Starts with a balanced setup; uses prep hop while playing low to the ground. Hands are out in front while funneling to the hip before transfer. Moderate arm circle while using various arm slots. 2.07-2.19 pop times. C - 75 MPH. 3B - 68 MPH. Showed both traditional and one-knee set-up at catcher, worked below ball well when receiving, clean transfer on pops, came out of crouch early, displayed accurate arm.
Dominic Alvarado, Redwood (Visalia, CA), 2024
Positional Profile: 3B/1B
Physical: 6-0, 190-pounds; Broad shouldered, sturdy build. 7.94 runner in the 60.
Offensively: LHH. Open setup, with feet just outside his shoulders; upright bat position. Loads straight back with a heel lift for timing. Stays behind the ball while showing an average effort from the legs. Showed a direct swing path with two handed finish with occasional one hand release. More fly balls than line drives and ground balls with a peak exit velocity of 91 MPH via Trackman. Can spray the ball around, showed near equal fly ball and ground ball percentage.
Defensively: Starts with an upright /tall setup; uses prep hop while showing active feet. Hands are out in front while funneling to the hip before transfer. Moderate arm circle from a high-3/4 arm slot. 3B - 73 MPH. Creates clean angles with feet, occasionally works around the ball, has technically sound footwork approach.
