Short take back with the hands with a knee knock leg kick for timing. Drifts into contact while showing an aggressive lower half. Showed a slight lift to the ball with two handed finish. More line drives than fly balls and ground balls with a peak exit velocity of 98 MPH via Trackman. Powerful, consistently on-plane, outstanding barrel awareness and bat control. Defensively: Starts with a balanced setup; walks into ready position while displaying fluid actions to the baseball. Hands are soft with a clean transfer. Short take back from a standard 3/4 arm slot. 1B - 80 MPH. Calm, reads ball early, creates outstanding angles, gets rid of it quickly, works bag with clean footwork.
