ROSTER PREVIEW

Wyatt Lo OF / 2B / Patrick Henry High School, CA / 2029

Matthew Parker RHP / 3B / Rancho Bernardo High, CA / 2029

From 3/31/26: The freshmen looked to be in absolute poise. Prep Baseball’s second time seeing Parker did not disappoint. The RHP’s mechanics are repeatable and in control. He rides the slope well, while staying tall, but stacked on his backside. Parker does a great job at getting over his front foot, and being explosive after front foot strike. He came in to a runners on 1st and 2nd, 1 out situation in the top of the 5th. He got out of the inning surrendering 2 runs due to errant defensive play. He nearly finished the game, but was pulled in a 3-1 count with 2 outs in the top of the 6th due to pitch count. The fastball lived 82-84 throughout the 2.1 innings, across nearly 45 pitches. The fastball has natural arm-side-run, where it just misses barrels. The most impressive part of the outing was the feel for his offspeed pitches. The SL looked like a hard sweeper, living around 76-78 with exceptional movement and feel in the zone. The CH was extremely effective in the lefty heavy Elk Grove lineup living around 74-76. He had 4 whiffs on the CH while only throwing it a handful of times. Parker even flashed the CH to righties, if he can execute, that will only take his pitching to the next level. Talking numbers, Parker sports a 1.00 ERA through 14 innings with 11Ks and 2BBs. Parker is a pitcher, not a thrower, therefore once he fills into his frame and starts throwing harder, the sky’s the limit.

Keith Clark OF / 3B / Madison High, CA / 2028

From 3/25/26: One of the more impactful performances of the day came from Clark. Hitting in the 8-hole, the sophomore went 2-4 with a home run and a double. The sophomore has a short, compact swing with a direct path to the baseball. The simple swing allows him to consistently get the barrel to the ball. On his home run pitch, it was up and away, where he was able to get extended and drive the ball in the air to RF. Clark’s clutch factor showed up most. With his team trailing 6-4 in the bottom of the 7th, he jumped on a pitch and left the yard to spark a rally that ultimately tied the game. He followed it up in the 8th inning with two outs and a runner on second, staying on an outer-half pitch and driving it down the LF line for a walk-off double. The sophomore is definitely not scared of the moment. Clark currently features a smaller, projectable frame with room to add strength, which should continue to unlock more consistent power as he develops. The combination of a compact swing, sneaky pop, and competitive edge makes him an intriguing sophomore to follow moving forward.
