Class of 2018 Showcase: Stat Story

The Class of 2018 Showcase took place on Wednesday, July 20^th at The MAX in McCook, IL. About 60 uncommitted, incoming juniors, took place in a pro style workout in front of the PBR Scouting Staff. Today the event analysis begins with the top statistical performers from the event.

3B/OF Francois Castillo (Roberto Clemente) found his name near or at the top of a few categories due to his strong right arm. Castillo was clocked at 93 mph from the outfield, 88 mph across the infield and then went on the mound, where he sat 83-85 mph.

Another standout statistical performer on the day was LHP/OF Kyle Salley (Homewood-Flossmoor). Salley ran a sub 7.0 60, was 88 mph from the outfield and sat 83-85 mph on the mound.
