No. 2 Mount Carmel 14, Fenwick 4
Indiana recruit Jeremy Houston went 3-for-3 with two RBI and Neil Novosel had four RBI for the Caravan. Cameron Hupe struck out six in the five-inning victory.

No. 3 Jacobs 7, Prairie Ridge 4
Mike Addante went 4-for-4 with two runs and Casey Dennison endured 10 hits in his complete-game victory. Dennison also went 2-for-3 with three RBI and Stevie Krueger had two doubles for Jacobs.

No. 5 Brother Rice 11, Bishop McNamara 0
Joe Pruesser went 2-for-2 with a home run, three RBI and three runs scored for the Crusaders.

No. 6 Edwardsville 3, Belleville East 2
Kade Burns singled with one out in the 10th inning, stole second and scored the winning run on Collin Clayton’s RBI single as Edwardsville survived. Tyler Hosto pitched a perfect 10th inning for the win. Andrew Yancik struck out six in four innings of one-hit relief for Edwardsville.

No. 7 Nazareth 5, Lane 0
Winning pitcher Carson Bartels and Richie Kiernicki combined on a two-hitter with 13 strikeouts for the Roadrunners. Bartels gave up the two hits while striking out seven in four innings. Kiernicki, Cesar DeLaCerda and Will McKenna had two hits apiece for Nazareth.

No. 8 Plainfield North 10, Romeoville 1
Josh Garner allowed four hits in six innings while striking out seven and walking two to improve to 3-1. He also had two RBI. Jake Dunham homered and drove in three for North. Connor Peplow also went deep in the victory.

No. 9 St. Charles North 3, Steamwood 1
Kyle Novotney’s RBI single in the bottom of the sixth broke a 1-1 tie and four North Stars pitchers combined on a one-hitter. Starter Tyler Mettetal allowed an unearned run and struck out six in three innings. Christian Sidoti got the final four outs for the win. Brenden Norberg had two hits and two RBI in the victory.

No. 10 O’Fallon 11, Granite City 0
Max Schafer allowed one hit with eight strikeouts in the six-inning victory. Dillon Weiss had two hits, two RBI and two runs.

No. 12 Providence 14, Lincoln-Way East 8
Mike Madej had three hits and Jackson Dvorak and Matt Waznis each went 2-for-2 with two runs for the Celtics. Tyler Zarembka entered in relief in the first inning after the first five Lincoln-Way East batters reached base and went on to pitch five innings, allowing two unearned runs on one hit.

Plainfield East 3, No. 13 Plainfield South 0
Drew DeMumbrum put together a dream performance, hitting a three-run homer in the first inning and pitching a three-hitter for East. He struck out four and walked four in out-dueling Konnor Ash, who pitched a two-hitter with seven strikeouts and three walks.

Neuqua Valley 7, No. 14 Naperville Central 3
Neuqua scored four unearned runs in the first inning then went ahead 7-2 on a three-run homer by Jack Bastable in the third. Connor Rektorski went the distance for the Wildcats, allowing one earned run on six hits with seven strikeouts in the victory.

No. 15 Sandburg 4, No. 21 Marist 1
Jack Wolfe went the distance for Sandburg, striking out nine while allowing five hits and two walks. Mike Dahlgren had an RBI double in the victory. Ben Chafee pitched well but was hurt by four unearned runs in taking the loss.

No. 16 Alton 2, Collinsville 1
Jacon Kanallakan hit a walk-off home run to lead off the bottom of the seventh for Alton. Jacob St. Peters pitched a three-hitter with six strikeouts and two walks for Alton.

No. 17 Lincoln Way-North 4, Joliet West 1

Warren 1, No. 20 Libertyville 0
Ryan Davila pitched a one-hitter and faced two batters more than the minimum to outduel Libertyville’s Ben Kimpler. Eric Ripley singled home Tanner Dyer with one out in the top of the seventh to end the scoreless deadlock. Davila struck out six and walked none. Kimpler pitched a three-hitter with seven strikeouts and four walks.

No. 25 Lemont 6, T.F. South 2
Ryan Sublette struck out eight in five innings and Danny Rizzo added five Ks in the final two as they combined on a three-hitter for Lemont. Sublette added a pair of hits and Austin Tittle drove in two runs.

Stevenson 2, Lake Forest 1
Charlie Ling had an RBI single as the Patriots scratched together two runs on three hits off Lake Forest ace Cal Coughlin in the bottom of the seventh after managing just two hits while striking out 12 times in the first six innings. Justin Stark allowed just one hit in five innings and has not allowed an earned run in three starts this season for Stevenson.

Lake Zurich 4, Zion-Benton 1
Ben Cornelius smacked a tie-breaking RBI double and came around to score in the top of the eighth for the Bears. Shane Nolan allowed an unearned run on three hits in six innings for Lake Zurich, and Nick Sanders struck out five in two perfect innings of relief for the win. Jacob Greenberg pitched all eight innings for Zion-Benton, striking out eight and allowing one earned run.

McHenry 3, No. 24 Mundelein 0
Ben Lang had a two-run single and scored on Dylan Honkala’s hit as McHenry put up three in the top of the sixth to pull off the upset. Michael Lasiewicz went the distance, allowing seven hits and two walks while striking out seven in the victory.

Cary-Grove 6, Grayslake Central 2
Ben Levicki had an RBI triple and scored two runs for the Trojans. Dominic Calamari added two hits.

Naperville North 3, Metea Valley 2
Jack Ginzkey went 2-for-3 with two RBI, including a run-scoring single in the two-run fifth for the Huskies. Matt Schwartz went the distance, allowing five hits and three walks while striking out six for the win. Brennan Simek had two hits and scored two runs for North.

Lake Park 18, Wheaton Warrenville South 5
Connor Cook and Joe Kennedy each had three of Lake Park’s 14 hits. Jim McDonald allowed one earned run on three hits in six innings for the win.

Waubonsie Valley 9, Glenbard North 1
Jason Neville went 3-for-3 with two RBI and pitched five innings of one-hit ball for the Warriors. Nick Price had three hits and scored three runs in the victory.

Wheaton North 7, Conant 6
Jake Barry drew a bases-loaded walk in the bottom of the sixth after Zach Colangelo’s RBI single tied the score at 6. Colangelo also pitched the final inning for the save.

New Trier 8, Niles North 2
Ben Brecht struck out eight in four innings of one-hit ball as New Trier coach Mike Napolean recorded career victory No. 799. He will go for 800 on Thursday at home against Deerfield. Clay Czyzynksi had three hits for the Trevians.

Glenbrook North 2, Maine South 1
Michael Oh went the distance, allowing five hits and two walks and striking out seven in the victory. Mitch Schermerhorn had two hits for the Spartans.

Batavia 8, Larkin 3
Glenn Albanese, Jr. struck out 13 in five innings and Tyler Kledzik had three RBI for the Bulldogs.

Marian Catholic 7, Andrew 2
Mark DiLuia pitched six scoreless innings, allowing one hit and surving six walks while striking out six to improve to 2-0. He also doubled twice in four at-bats. Sean Gallagher had two RBI for Marian.

St. Viator 7, Carmel 4
Brad McCullough and Bryce Hellgeth had RBI doubles as Viator took the lead with three in the bottom of the fifth.

Minooka 3, Plainfield Central 2
Logan O’Brien singled home Jon Butler with the winning run with two outs in the bottom of the ninth. Brandon Rossiter got the win in relief, striking out seven in four scoreless innings. Joe Butler struck out eight over the first five innings for Minooka.

Oswego East 4, Oswego 3
Jack Borvan had three RBI, including the game-winning single scoring Julian Spencer in the bottom of the eighth. Cody Peterlin had three hits for Oswego.

Lyons 10, Glenbard West 0
Emilio Guitron pitched a one-hitter and went 2-for-3 with an RBI in the five-inning victory. He struck out four and walked one. Griffin Schultz and Connor Pasko drove in two runs each and Michael Phelan scored three times.

Loyola 13, St. Patrick 4
Jack Lombardi went 3-for-4 with three RBI for the Ramblers. Thomas Smart, Andrew Bartholow and Liam McKeough had two hits apiece for Loyola.

Benet 5, West Aurora 1
Joey Christensen, C.J. Birck and Pat Barron combined to limit West Aurora to six hits while striking out seven and the Redwings broke it open with four runs in the sixth.

Niles Notre Dame 8, Rolling Meadows 2
Matt Segovia tripled, doubled and had three RBI for the Dons. Ranko Stevanovic and Matt Krogstad had two hits apeice in the victory.

Evergreen Park 11, Argo 5
Dan Smith went 3-for-4 and scored three runs and Declan Smyth had two hits and two RBI for Evergreen Park.

St. Joseph-Ogden 10, Unity 0
Colton Carr (5-0) pitched a perfect game, striking out five in seven innings. Dalton Parker and Brant Hovelin both had a three-run double.

Glenwood 10, Springfield Southeast 0
Dawson Council pitched a three-hitter with seven strikeouts and three walks in the six-inning victory.

Centennial 5, Bloomington 2
Cameron Hedge pitched five innings of three-hit ball and Quin Nottingham and Jordan Williams had two hits apiece for Centennial.

Bloomington Central 4, Mahomet-Seymour 3
Jacob Gilmore struck out 11 in a complete-game victory and Sam Heaton went 2-for-2 and scored three of Bloomington Central’s four runs. Tom Kenney doubled, tripled and had two RBI for Mahomet-Seymour.

Aurora Central Catholic 11, St. Edward 8
Ryan Poplawski scored the go-ahead run on a dropped third strike with two outs in the top of the seventh and Jimmy Laurenti followed with a two-run single for ACC.

Monticello 5, Rantoul 1
Tyler Jones allowed two hits in 6⅓ and Logan Hislope had an RBI double for Monticello.

Herscher 6, Reed-Custer 1
Ty Stuart pitched a complete game and went 2-for-3 with a two-run double and three RBI. He allowed six hits and a walk while striking out seven.

Breese Central 3, Wesclin 1
Jack Strieker struck out nine and allowed one hit in 5⅓ and Michael Rule got the final five outs for the save.

Maroa-Forsyth 2, St. Thomas More 1
Braden Willoughby pitched a four-hitter with 12 strikeouts and scored the game’s first run after singling in the first inning.

Geneseo 4, Sterling 2
Bo Lindstrom had a two-run triple and scored as Geneseo took the lead for good with three in the bottom of the third. Eric Westerlund allowed an unearned run on two hits in five innings to earn the win.

St. Anthony 12, Beecher City 2
Colin Koester pitched a two-hitter with eight strikeouts and Austin Kline scored four runs in the victory.

Harvard 6, Johnsburg 5
Chris Krennrich hit a three-run homer for Johnsburg.

Rochester 12, Decatur Macarthur 0
Tyler Fitzgerald went 3-for-3 and Christian Lett hit a home run for Rochester.

Burlington Central 11, Richmond-Burton 4
John Murphy went 4-for-4 with four RBI for Burlington Central. Craig Schuring added three hits and struck out 12 in 5⅔ to earn the win.

Sacred Heart-Griffin 9, Decatur Eisenhower 0
Brian Zanger allowed one hit in four innings and Devin Thomas and Michael Healey each went 2-for-2 in the victory.

Wauconda 7, Lakes 3
Luke Weller’s two-run single was followed by Brian McFarlin’s two-run homer as Wauconda scored four in the top of the 10th to prevail. Trevor Sefcik pitched four scoreless innings for the win. Jack Christensen and Ryan Selig had RBI singles in the bottom of the seventh as Lakes scored three runs to force extra innings.

Woodstock North 3, Lake Forest Academy 1
Jake Busse pitched five strong innings and got relief from Nate Harris and Jake Fiorito in the victory. Harris also had three hits.

Vernon Hills 4, Grant 2
Connor McNamara had a clutch single and scored on a double by Nick Marras as Vernon Hills scored twice in the top of the seventh to break a 2-2 tie. Brad Larsen allowed two unearned runs on two hits in five innings, Joe Rangel pitched a scoreless sixth for the win and Tommy Earhart struck out two in a perfect seventh for the save.

Tri-Valley 6, Salt Fork 2
Matt Mier drove in three runs and Kyle Van Duyn pitched 6⅓ without giving up an earned run for Tri-Valley.

Kenwood 3, Brooks 2
Jared Hunt entered the game with one on and one out in the bottom of the seventh and saved the win for Justin Hardiman, who also had an RBI single.

Benton 3, Murphysboro 2
Derek Oxford (2-for-3) and Dillan Chamness had RBI as Benton scored three in the top of the sixth to break the scoreless tie. Hamilton Page allowed one earned run on four hits in five innings for the win.

Bremen 4, Tinley Park 1
Mike Fuentes struck out 11 while scattering six hits and two walks in the complete-game victory. Matt Woods, Nate Cordova and Chase Lanagan-Townsend had run-scoring hits in Bremen’s four-run sixth.

Crystal Lake South 10, Hoffman Estates 1
Tyler Carlson went 2-for-3 with three RBI and three runs for the Gators.

DeKalb 8, Yorkville 2
Nicholas Nunez had three hits and Daniel Garcia had two hits and two RBI for the Barbs.

Kaneland 1, LaSalle-Peru 0
Jacob Violett went the distance, allowing six hits and no walks while striking out six. Matt O’Sullivan’s RBI single in the second was the difference.

Marmion 3, Bartlett 0
Brandon McPherson went 3-for-4 and Nick Brummel pitched six scoreless innings for the win.

Alex Dorethy recorded 17 strikeouts in the victory.
