scattered seven hits on six scoreless innings, striking out four and walking none to earn the victory.

No. 8 St. Charles North 5, Lake Park 4
North reliever Christian Sidoti worked out of a bases-loaded, nobody-out jam in the top of the eighth, then John Legare scored the winning run as Lake Park mishandled a throw following a fly out with the bases loaded in the bottom of the inning. Legare had two hits and two runs to lead the North Stars’ attack.

Ben Brecht
pitched a four-hitter with 11 strikeouts and no walks for the Trevians. Dylan Horvitz doubled home Matt Kann with the go-ahead run in the bottom of the sixth. Notre Dame's Nick Stefanowicz and Paul Bergstrom limited New Trier to three hits.

No. 23 Centennial 3, No. 16 Sacred Heart-Griffin 2
Quin Nottingham
and Mason Joop scored the tying and winning runs on Matt Davis's walk-off double with one out in the bottom of the seventh. Luke Smith allowed two hits while striking out five and walking none on three scoreless innings to pick up the win in relief. He also went 2-for-2 and scored Centennial’s first run.

Josh Figueroa
belted two triples and a double and drove home four runs for the Meteors. Fernando Moreno singled, doubled, scored three runs and drove in another in the victory.

Fenwick 9, Payton 3
Anthony Cavalieri
went 2-for-3 with three RBI and Jack Grace went 2-for-2 for the Friars.

Sycamore 10, Rock Falls 7
Tyler Maveus
and Jason Wittenberg blasted home runs as Sycamore overcame Rock Falls’ five-run first inning to advance. James Marcinkowski went 2-for-4 with a triple, two RBI and two runs in the victory.
