No. 1 Brother Rice 6, No. 3 St. Laurence 2
Jack Guzek allowed an earned run on five hits in five innings and went 2-for-3 as Brother Rice extended its winning streak to 27 and clinched the CCL Blue title. Sam Jones homered, Mike Massey had two hits and Alex Van Dyke drove in a pair in the victory.

No. 2 O’Fallon 11, Granite City 0
Max Schaefer and Bradley Snyder combined on a one-hitter and Bradley Harrison hit a home run in the five-inning victory.

No. 5 Plainfield North 8, Plainfield East 1
Tyler Garrity pitched a three-hitter with six strikeouts to improve to 6-0. Josh Heckman hit a grand slam and Alex Steinbach also went deep for North.

No. 6 Mount Carmel 17, Marmion 2
Bobby Seymour hit two home runs and had seven RBI for the Caravan. Alek Thomas also went deep and A.J. Lewis added two doubles and a single.

No. 7 Edwardsville 4, Belleville East 0
Tyler Hosto struck out eight and allowed three singles in six innings and Daniel Reed hit a solo home run in his only at-bat for Edwardsville. Cole Cimarolli went 2-for-4 and scored two runs.

No. 9 St. Rita 13, St. Francis 4
Dom Sarro and Ray Hansen drove home three runs apiece and Danny Gleaves doubled twice and had two RBI as St. Rita coach Mike Zunica registered win No. 600.

Austin Traub drove in all four runs for Moline.

No. 14 Lemont 10, Shepard 0
Nick Wisz homered and had three RBI and Nate Madej struck out nine in the five-inning victory. Made allowed four hits and did not issue a walk. Garrett Acton had two doubles for Lemont.

No. 16 Peoria Notre Dame 22, Peoria Central 1
Jimmy Kelly and Braedon Blackford had six hits, seven RBI and seven runs between them for the Irish.

Centennial 5, No. 18 Champaign Central 4
Quin Nottingham’s RBI double in the bottom of the ninth gave Centennial a split in the crosstown series. Kellen Sarver allowed one hit in three scoreless innings of relief for the win and had a pair of RBI for Centennial.

No. 20 Niles Notre Dame 15, St. Patrick 3
Tim Simon and Ranko Stevanovic had three hits apiece, Sam Ferri went 2-for-2 with four RBI and Dylan Hyde hit a home run for the Dons.

Normal West 8, No. 22 Normal Community 6
Matt Ogden’s two-run single in the six-run second inning gave West the lead for good. Winning pitcher Nick Watson went 2-for-3 with an RBI. Alec Trela hit two home runs and Addison Fugitt also went deep in the loss for Normal Community.

No. 23 Naperville Central 10, Wheaton North 0
Liam Heath struck out 11 and limited North to three hits and one walk in the six-inning victory. Michael Nerger went 3-for-4 with two RBI.

No. 25 Rockford Christian 6, Burlington Central 3
Nolan Gazouski struck out seven in three innings and went 3-for-3 with two doubles and three RBI as the Royal Lions won their 16th game in a row.

Waubonsie Valley 5, Naperville North 2
Alex Schram pitched a complete game, scattering seven hits while striking out five and walking none. Nick Santoro had three hits for Waubonsie.

Oswego 3, Minooka 2
Luke Torrez pitched a complete game and J.D. Miller drew a bases-loaded walk in the bottom of the sixth to break the 2-2 tie. Mike Dato and Gabe Panza had two hits and an RBI apiece for Oswego.

Plainfield Central 12, Oswego East 4
Matt Bunetta went 3-for-4 with a homer and three RBI for Central. Cameron Cercone added three hits and Kyle MacFarlane doubled twice in the victory.

Lake Forest 7, Warren 0
Matt Peterson pitched a four-hitter with 10 strikeouts and two walks as Lake Forest delivered consecutive shutouts in the two-game series.

Mundelein 6, Lake Zurich 1
Wil Michalski pitched eight innings of five-hit ball and Mundelein broke it open with five runs in the top of the eighth. Reid Rubio had a two-run single and Jeff Morton had two hits and scored two runs.

Libertyville 8, Zion-Benton 1
Tim Calamari hit a home run and Colin Fields went 3-for-4 with three RBI in the victory.

Waukegan 9, Glenbrook South 7
Jean Casanova struck out 13 in 5 ⅓ innings and Devonta Cantu and Kyle Fransk had two hits apiece for the Bulldogs.

Marist 7, St. Viator 3
Brandon Hanik pitched 6 ⅔ innings and went 3-for-4 in the victory. Zach Sefcik added two hits and two RBI.

Andrean (IN) 16, Marian Catholic 9
Mark DiLiua homered and Christian Beal had three hits for Marian.

Downers Grove North 5, Leyden 3
David Guiliano went 3-for-3 with two stolen bases and two runs for North.

Stagg 12, Joliet Central 3
Max Downs homered and drove in five runs for Stagg.

Bremen 2, Reavis 1
Colin Walton allowed five hits and three walks while striking out five in the complete-game victory.

Crystal Lake South 9, Crystal Lake Central 5
Kory Olsen had a tie-breaking two-run single as the Gators scored six times in the sixth inning to take charge.

Lakes 12, Grant 3
Winning pitcher Ben Milewski had two doubles and a single and scored three runs for Lakes. Matt  Milewski added two hits and two RBI.

Grayslake Central 9, Dundee-Crown 6
Sam Nozicka went 3-for-4 with three RBI for the Rams. Ben Fitzgerald and Benton Troehler both doubled and singled in the victory.

Wauconda 12, Round Lake 2
Trevor Sefcik homered and Jake Grobelny went 3-for-3 in the victory.

St. Charles East 10, Elgin 0
John Carroll had two hits and three RBI and Keegan Kochis pitched five innings of three-hit ball.

Geneseo 8, Morris 0
Cole Hunzeker had two hits and three RBI and Marshall Rice allowed three hits and no walks in six innings for Geneseo.

Yorkville 4, Kaneland 3
Mark Sommers went 4-for-4 and scored the winning run on Brendon Reifsteck’s single in the bottom of the eighth.

Hersey 20, Antioch 14
Tanner Luke went 4-for-4 with three doubles and three RBI, Luke LaSalvia went 3-for-4 with four RBI and Brett Harris went 3-for-4 with five runs for Hersey in the shootout.

De La Salle 2, Montini 0
Johnny Galvan pitched six innings of one-hit ball, striking out nine and surviving seven walks to earn the victory. Alex Luka allowed an earned run on four hits in six innings for Montini.

Lockport 3, Aurora Christian 1
Matt Medina struck out three in three perfect innings and the Porters made the most out of four hits.

Jack Trotter went 2-for-3 with a triple and two RBI and four Stevenson pitchers combined on a three-hitter in the six-inning victory.
