Player: Zaid Walker
Position: OF
School: Michigan State

Selected by the Cincinnati Reds in the 38th round of the 2018 draft, Walker is athletic with good overall body strength. At 6-foot-2, 205 pounds Walker can drift at the plate and his barrel will drag, but he shows solid bat speed and more power to the opposite field gap than his pull side. He’s an average runner, clocking in at a 6.85 sixty, and shows average arm strength with improving accuracy from the outfield. In 2020 he made 11 starts for the Spartans, ten coming in right field and one as designated hitter. Walker batted .267 (12-for-45), and tied for second on team with four doubles while sharing the team lead with one home run, all good for a .422 slugging percentage. He also posted five RBI and two stolen bases.
