Illinois Insider: Top Uncommited 2015 Prospects Around the Diamond

In today’s college recruiting landscape commitments are occurring rapidly and at earlier ages than ever. Recently, two extremely talented Wisconsin high school 2018 prospects, Jarred Kelenic (Waukesha West) and Alex Binelas (Oak Creek), made commitments to two-time College World Series participant Louisville before playing a high school game as freshmen.
In Illinois, early commitments are the rage, but several talented prospects still pop up late, or remain uncommitted. The state of Illinois currently boasts 192 collegiate commitments in the 2015 class reported to the Prep Baseball Report, a number that rises daily.
