Illinois Preseason Schedule Is Set

Illinois’ winter preseason schedule is now up and posted. The first two Preseason I.D. Showcases are new events being offered. The Illiana Preseason I.D. and the McHenry Preseason I.D. both are being held on January 31st. We are hosting four Preseason I.D. events in total and all are huge for the recruiting process and identifying the top players to follow during the spring season.
The winter slate kicks off with the Underclass Invitational (Invite Only) Showcase, for Class of 2018 and 2019 graduates, held on January 17th at The MAX in McCook, IL. There are already eight Division I commitments from last year’s event. If interested please CLICK HERE to request an invite.
Another (invite only) event we will be hosting is the Preseason All-State Showcase for the Class of 2017, held on February 14th at The Max in McCook, IL. CLICK HERE to request an invite to the event. 36 participants from last year’s event have committed to Division I schools already.
The prestigious Super 60 Pro Showcase is coming to The MAX once again. This year it will be held February 14th. This invitation-only event features only the top players in the Prep Baseball Report's 27-state coverage area. Over the last 13 years, the Super 60 has become the most heavily scouted preseason event for potential draft picks in the Midwest. The event is for Class of 2016 players and select 2017 prospects. Last year saw 25 of the 29 pitchers touch 89-mph or better, including 10 who were 92-plus, while 26 of the 41 position players ran sub-7 60s.
We will also be hosting the last Unsigned Senior Showcase of the year for the Class of 2016 graduates on January 24th at The MAX in McCook, IL. 31 prospects from last year’s event went on to play collegiate baseball.
