Princeville, senior first baseman/outfielder, Adam Snedden, has been named this week’s PBR Player of the Week, thanks to his outstanding performance at the plate last week for the Princes.

Snedden led the 21-7 Princeville squad to 3-1 record last week and was part of an IHSA record that the Princes set in game two of a double header against Wethersfield/Annawan last Thursday. In the 17-6 win, the Princes hit a record five consecutive home runs in the sixth inning. Snedden was on the front end of the record-setting game, hitting a solo shot to start off the barrage. In the first game of the double header, Snedden personally had his most impressive game of the week, hitting three home runs, including a grand slam, a double, six RBI and four runs scored.

On the week, Snedden went 7-for-12 (.583 BA), with four home runs, three doubles, seven RBI’s, eight runs scored and an RBI. Thanks to all of his extra-base hits throughout the week, it resulted in an astronomical 1.833 SLG % and a 2.449 OPS.

On top of his impressive performance on the baseball field this spring, Snedded is a two-time, 1A All-State running back on the football field. In those two all-state season's, Snedden ran for 3,007 yards and scored 52 touchdowns.

For his efforts, Snedden has been named the PBR Player of the Week for the week of May 6 - May 11.
