Agile blocker, ability to deaden ball in front. Clean, athletic transfer, short, over-the-top arm action and strong, accurate arm with carry. Pop times ranged between 2.00-2.07 in between innings. Left-handed hitter, finished the day 1-for-2 with a walk. Balanced, relaxed look in the box, smooth load and looks to use the middle of the field. Flashed bat speed with natural lift in swing. Singled hard up the middle in his second at-bat, stayed short and compact.

2.18.18 - Illinois State commit. 6-foot, 175-pound, catcher, strong, durable build. One of the top defensive catchers in the state. Advanced arm strength for his age, topped at 80 mph from the crouch. Throws had cut at times but when he stays behind the baseball, throws carry and stay true. Pop times ranged from 1.86-2.06. Polished receiver; soft hands, stays quiet, presents pitches well in the zone. Left-handed hitter, balanced setup, smooth load and leg-lift trigger.
