On Oct. 7, at The MAX sports facility in McCook, Ill., PBR will be hosting the fall’s Unsigned Senior Showcase. You can find registration information within the previous hyperlink, but we’ll use this post today, as well as the posts following this one leading up to this week’s event, to shine the light on a few of the attending prospects who merit specific mentioning.

Evanston LHP Cameron Mulvihill (2019) debuted on Illinois’ 2019 rankings almost one year agoand is now ranked within the top 10 among lefties in the state. The 6-foot-2 lanky lefty got an invite to this summer’s Top Prospect – Chicago event in June where he flashed the makings of a three-pitch mix. There, his fastball was up to 85 mph and he coupled it with a tight slider and a changeup with some cut and sink. He’s developed physically over the past year, adding velocity along the way, but still contains room for further growth and projection. Mulvihill is currently one of the top-ranked left-handed arms without a commitment in the state’s senior class.
