Updated 2018 Illinois Rankings: Top Right-Handed Pitchers

On Monday of this week the 2018 rankings were updated and expanded from 35 to 75. Due to the numerous events since the last update the depth of the 2018 class has strengthened considerably.

There are now 16 right-handed pitchers ranked in the sophomore class. Jacob Maton (Glenwood), the top right-handed arm in the class, came to the forefront after his performance at the Underclass Invitational in January. 6-foot-3, 170-pound Maton earned top pitching honors at the event. He displayed an advanced three-pitch mix, headlined by an easy 87-89 mph fastball with late arm-side life. Maton is now ranked No. 3 in Illinois.

Below we take a look at the 16 right-handed pitchers who found themselves in the updated 2018 rankings:
