On Wednesday, July 8th, our staff traveled down to Carterville, Illinois to host the Southern Illinois Summer ID at John A. Logan. This event was on the smaller side, but offered a personal look to some of the talent in the area. 

Today, we are rolling out all the prospects from the day with their scouting reports, found below.

1. Dane Johnson, Freeburg (IL), 2027
Positional Profile: 3B/RHP
Body: 5-11.4, 170-pounds. Athletic, well-proportioned frame with strength present.
Hit: RHH. Slightly open base, pre-pitch rhythm in hands, works back to even with shorter stride. Uphill path, creates noticeable jump off the barrel, uses the whole field, line-drive oriented, balanced, hitterish.
