Roster Preview

The roster for this event is already shaping up nicely with nearly 30 players set to attend, and we wanted to take some time to highlight a handful of the prospects that will be joining us on Saturday.

INF/RHP Christian Clark (St. Rita, 2025) is an exciting young prospect with a noteworthy amount of upside. Listed at 5-foot-11, 160-pounds with long limbs and a high-waisted frame, Clark has plenty of room to add on strength throughout his build in the coming years. The right-handed hitter has a loose, athletic stroke that stays on balance through impact, working the ball to the whole field and repeating with ease. He's a smooth defender, boasting soft/fluid hands with a clean transfer, playing athletically through the ball with clear comfort for the position. He has also shown some prowess on the mound in previous looks, working with an easy and fluid delivery to create a fastball up to 81.4 mph, setting up a grafual 11/5 curveball in the mid-60s and a low-70s changeup with deceptive arm-speed.

A strong right-handed hitter set to attend is INF Jake Williams (Wheaton North, 2025). Listed at 6-foot-1, 192-pounds with lean strength throughout, Williams impressed this past summer at the West Suburban Open with a loud round of BP, working up to 95.6 mph for his max EV with a max distance of 350'. He also put up some quality BLAST metrics, averaging 22.9 mph for his hand speed with a max of 23.8 mph.

(Jake Williams)

Staying on the topic of strong right-handed hitters, 1B/OF Joshua Ziemer (Glenbard East, 2026) is another player set to attend that falls in this category. Ziemer has an easy swing with little perceived effort, reaching just under 90 mph for his max EV last winter, but we've heard reports he's been climbing well north of his previous mark.
