Top Prospect Games - MOKAN: 2019 Outfielders

Prep Baseball Report - Missouri/Kansas held the Top Prospect Games - MOKAN at the University of Central Missouri in Warrensburg on August 12. Over sixty players attended in the 2020-2019 class.
Players can now updated their profiles with a ProspectPlus subscription, while scouts and recruiters can add players on the ScoutPlus dashboard. Player profiles have been updated with profile picture, running times, velocities, and videos. Today will take a closer look at the 2019 Outfielders from the event. Players are listed in alphabetical order below.
2019 Outfielders
Quinten Arello OF / Staley High School, MO / 2019Arello is a 6-foot-1 180-pound right-handed hitting outfielder in Missouri’s 2019 class. He ran a 6.94 60 and a 4.31 home to first. He has an 89 mph exit velocity. At the plate, starts tall and slightly open, toe tap, smooth pre-pitch rhythm in hands, level path, consistent line drives gap to gap during hitting evals. In the outfield, 83 mph positional velocity, high three quarter arm slot, clean exchange with feet creating momentum through the catch, works behind the ball, body stays under control with fluid actions, mostly accurate throws, athletic and strong build. |
Ray Bailey OF / LHP / Kickapoo , MO / 2019Bailey is an athletically built 6-foot-2 175-pound left-handed hitting outfielder in Missouri’s 2019 class. He ran a 7.02 60 and a 4.51 home to first. He has an 83 mph exit velocity. At the plate, balanced stance with most weight in back side, smooth load, minimal hand movement, in line stride, some lift to swing path, high finish in hands, body stays under control, hands work inside the ball, mostly middle to opposite field contact during hitting evals. Jason Baldwin OF / Shawnee Mission East, KS / 2019Baldwin is an athletic 5-foot-11 180-pound right-handed hitting in Missouri’s 2019 class. He ran a 7.14 60 and a 4.59 home to first. He has an 84 mph exit velocity. At the plate, balanced stance, slight smooth load in lower half, no wasted movement in hands, short stride, level bat path, loose hands, swing middle of the field and pull side line drives during hitting evals. Zack Floyd OF / SS / Lutheran St. Charles, MO / 2019Floyd is a strong 5-foot-10 190-pound right-handed hitting outfielder in Missouri’s 2019 class. He ran a 7.15 60 and a 4.52 home to first. He has a 93 mph exit velocity.
