2020 Games: Statistical Analysis

The Invite-Only 2020 Games took place on Tuesday, June 5th at Phoenix Municipal Stadium, home of the Arizona State Sun Devils. The event featured many of the state's top sophomores and gave players an opportunity to earn an invitation to play for Team Arizona in our premier national event, the PBR Future Games in August. Today, we start the event analysis with some Quick Hits on a few prospects who stood out. At an event of this caliber we cannot possibly include everyone who performed well and also posted brief notes and videos throughout the day on Twitter.

TOP 60 YARD DASH TIMES
Colten Keith grabs the top spot with a blazing time of 6.69, followed closely by Noah Nithman at 6.76.

TOP FASTBALL VELOCITY
In what will be a recurring theme, Colten Keith posted the top fastball velocity, touching 90 mph multiple times, followed by Trevor Log and Daniel Davila at 88 and 87 mph respectively.

TOP EXIT VELOCITY
Colten Keith again leads the pack with a very impressive 97 mph exit velocity as a sophomore. Physical hitters Jacob Berry and Efrain Manzo also impressed at 84 mph.

TOP INFIELD VELOCITY
Trevor Long threw 89 mph across the diamond as part of a standout performance where he was the top uncommitted prospect in attendance. Colten Keith, Jacob Berry, Ryland Zaborowski and Travis Warinner also showed plenty of arm on the infield.

Colten Keith doesn't have much outfield experience but could fit there at the next level and promptly posted the top outfield velocity at 90 mph. Eric Loomis and Joel Rubin also showed real arm strength at 88 mph.

Tanner Spallina lead the way, posting a best pop of 1.96 and continuing to show high-end defensive tools. Landon Wallace came over from California and posted an impressive time of 1.97, followed closely by Shane Erickson and Christian Rodriguez at 2.0. Erickson also put up a 1.96 in between innings during game action.

In our first extended look at him, Christian Rodriguez put up a very impressive 77 mph catcher velo, followed closely by Erickson and Wallace at 75 mph.
