Eastern PA Fall Review Anaylysis: Class of 2021 & 2022

The Eastern PA Fall Review took place September 15th at Keystone State Baseball Academy after weather forced a change in venue from Widener University. Today we conclude a series of articles analyzing the prospects in attendance by taking a look at those prospects that participated from the Class of 2021 and 2022.

Class of 2021

Jakob CorropoleseJakob Corropolese, C, Spring-Ford (PA)
5-foot-9, 175-pound right-handed hitter starts from a square stance and initiates his swing with a lift-and-replace stride. Displayed a flat barrel path through the zone with an upper half dominated swing during batting practice with a bat exit velocity of 79 mph. Additional work to clear his lower half will allow Corropolese to get off his back side and create additional barrel whip. Ran an 8.03 60-yard dash and showcased pop times of 2.26-2.34 on throws of 67 mph from the crouch. 

Danny EstradaDanny Estrada, OF/2B, Wilson West Lawn HS (PA)
5-foot-6, 160-pound left-handed hitter starts from a square stance and initiates his swing with a heel raise stride. Displayed balance throughout with an advanced feel for the barrel and registered a bat exit velocity of 80 mph during one of the top rounds of batting practice on the day. Went 1-for-3 in game action and ran a 7.32 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder showcased upper 70s arm strength from the outfield and in the infield during defensive evaluations. Defensive abilities currently lag behind his offense, but his bat should draw interest in the coming years.

Mike GregosMike Gregos, 3B, Daniel Boone HS (PA)
5-foot-11, 208-pound right-handed hitter starts from a slightly open stance and utilizes a heel raise stride to initiate his swing. Showcased solid feel for the barrel during batting practice with an event best bat exit velocity of 88 mph. Physical frame and solid lower half actions, along with a slightly uphill path, lead to some present pull side power. Displayed active feet defensively and confidence in his glove hand with accurate 68 mph arm strength across the diamond. Ran a 7.48 60-yard dash and barreled the baseball in multiple in game at bats.

Jack PriceJack Price, RHP/1B, Spring-Ford HS (PA)
6-foot-2, 165-pound primary pitcher sat 76-79 from an over-the-top arm slot during game action. Begins delivery with a short side-rocker step and stays directional while getting downhill routinely. Curveball has looping 11/5 break at 59-60 while his changeup is thrown at near fastball arm speed at 60-62. Left-handed hitter starts from a square stance and utilizes a toe-tap stride to initiate his swing. Displayed a short swing path with a feel for the barrel and a bat exit velocity of 71 mph. Showcased capable actions around the bag at first base with accurate 70 mph arm strength across the diamond.

Asa WilsonAsa Wilson, C, Exeter Township HS (PA)
6-foot-1, 160-pound right-handed hitter starts from a square stance and initiates his swing with a lift-and-replace stride. Displayed the ability to routinely square the baseball with a bat exit velocity of 76 mph. Stays behind baseball well and has a long frame with room to add significant strength in the future. Ran a 7.45 60-yard dash and showcased pop times of 2.21-2.28 on throws of 71 mph from the crouch.

CLASS OF 2022

Vincent FattoreVincent Fattore, OF, William Penn Charter School (PA)
5-foot-10, 170-pounder has an athletic frame and stood out as one of the top prospects in attendance. The right-handed hitter starts from a square stance and initiates his swing with a leg-hang stride. Displayed the ability to create backspin with advanced feel for the barrel while registering an 83 mph bat exit velocity. Ran one of the top 60-yard dash times of the event at 6.87 and showcased the ability to play through the baseball defensively with accurate 79 mph arm strength. Fattore is definitely a high follow in this class with a chance to see time early in his varsity career.

Alex LehmanAlex Lehman, LHP/1B, Downingtown East HS (PA)
5-foot-9, 170-pound two-way prospect sat 77-79 from a high 3/4 arm slot with some cut to his fastball. Lehman also displayed a feel for his curveball at 67-68 with 1/7 rotation and an advanced changeup at 67-69 that has late sink. The left-handed hitter also impressed starting from a square stance. He uses a short, lift-and-replace stride to initiate his hands. Showcased above average feel for the barrel with a bat exit velocity of 78 mph. Moves well around the bag and showcased active feet and an accurate arm. Solid two-way skill set makes Lehman a prospect to follow over the next several years.
