CLASS OF 2020

Karl Schmidt, Avon Grove HS (PA), LHP
5-foot-9, 155-pound lefty sat 78-80 from a 3/4 arm slot with arm-side run and sink to his fastball. Delivery is balanced and repeatable with limited wasted movement. Curveball showed consistent 1/7 shape at 68-70. Above average changeup is thrown with good sell at 70-72 with repeated sink. Schmidt showed a solid feel for all three pitches and was able to command each for strikes.

Cameron Trego, Coatesville Area HS (PA), LHP/OF
5-foot-11, 160-pound primary pitcher also worked out as an outfielder. The lefty sat 73-75 out of a high 3/4 arm slot with some cut action to his fastball. Showed a balanced, repeatable delivery while working underneath the baseball limiting his ability to spin the baseball. Trego's curveball sat 64-67 with consistent 1/7 shape and his changeup at near fastball arm speed sat 67-70.

CLASS OF 2021

Logan Ray, Salesianum School (DE), LHP
5-foot-10, 200-pounder sat 76-79 from a high 3/4 arm slot. Delivery begins with a short, side-rocker step and Ray gains ground repeatedly with good direction to the plate. The fastball is relatively flat, but his changeup at 69-71 is thrown with good arm speed and shows some cutting action. Ray also commanded his curveball with 1/7 shape at 66-69.

Erik Ritchie, Souderton Area HS (PA), LHP
6-foot, 185-pound lefty impressed at a previous PBR event in September. His fastball was down a few ticks on this date sitting 79-82 out of a 3/4 arm slot. Easy, repeatable delivery stays directional while his fastball shows some cut. Ritchie's curveball at 67-70 has tight slider shape with a chance to be an above average pitch. He also commanded his changeup at fastball arm speed with regularity at 71-73.
