Dan Cevette
President, NY/PA

The Northeast Procase will take place February 20, 2022 at the Liberty Arena in Williamsport, PA. This event marks the 2nd annual event where committed players from NY/NJ/PA will be on full display showing off all of their hard work this preseason. Currently this event is shaping up to be the most talent filled preseason event in our NY/PA history with 80+ players headed to Williamsport. Of those current 75 players, 17 players are committed to Power 5 conferences.

INSIDE THE NORTHEAST PROCASE

Michael DiMartini SS / 2B / South Fayette , PA / 2023

DiMartini stands 6-foot-1, 195-pounds from an athletic and strong build. The smooth fielding MIF shows off premium athleticism evidenced by his 6.8 laser 60-yard dash time. Moves extremely well defensively showing off lateral range with clean and fluid glove work. He displays a multi-arm slot ability with a serviceable 85 mph peak arm-strength across the diamond, which we expect to see gains over the next two years. He is currently ranked the No. 21 player in the Pennsylvania 2023 class.

At the plate he uses a balanced and upright setup with his hands low. On the pitch he uses a stride for timing and powers his hands to the baseball from a short and compact path. DiMartini produces above average bat-speed (95 mph) and uses all fields. The Penn State commit has a real chance of sticking at the left-side of the infield while having the potential to be an impact in the lineup right away. We are excited to see him at the Northeast Procase this February.
