Pennsylvania Player of the Week

Shortstop Kyler Fedko (Vincentian Academy), went 9-for-10 with four doubles and three home runs on the week. The Connecticut commit, who participated for Team Pennsylvania in the 2016 PBR Future Games, scored eight times and drove in 13 runs.
On the season Fedko has a .737 batting average and a .773 on base percentage. In addition to his 14 hits in six games, Fedko has also walked three times. Nine of his 14 hits have gone for extra bases and he has scored 11 runs.
RHP/SS Troy Emert (Rockwood Area) spun a perfect game in a 1-0 win over Shanksville on Monday. The righty, ranked No. 170 in the PA Class of 2019, struck out 18 batters in the gem and assisted on two of the three balls put in play. Offensively Emert went 2-for-3 in the game and scored the winning run.
Emert picked up a second win on Saturday with 1.2 innings of work, striking out four of the five batters that he faced. On the week he worked 8.2 innings facing 26 batters. He registered 22 strikeouts and did not allow a hit or a walk. Offensively Emert went 5-for-7 with three walks and was hit by a pitch for an .818 on base percentage while scoring six runs in three games. Emert will be participating in the Western PA Top Prospect Games in June.
For their efforts, Fedko and Emert have been named the Prep Baseball Report Pennsylvania Co-Players of the Week for the week of April 9 - April 14.

+ 2018 catcher Cole Chesnet (Archbishop Carroll), a Penn State commit, went 5-for-9 with three doubles, four RBI and three runs scored on the week.
+ 2018 RHP Thomas Grecco (DuBois Central Catholic), a Clarion commit, went 6.2 scoreless innings with 12 strikeouts in a win over Philipsburg-Osceoloa on Thursday. At the plate for the week he also went 6-for-10 with a home run, two doubles and eight RBI.
+ 2018 SS Sean Guilbe (Muhlenberg), went 5-for-10 with two doubles, two home runs and three RBI on the week. The Tennessee commit, ranked No. 2 in the PA Class of 2018 and No. 90 in the PBR HIgh School Draft 100 rankings, walked eight times and scored nine times.
+ 2018 1B Matt Hayes (Lakeland), a Longwood commit, went 6-for-7 with two doubles, two triples and five RBI on the week.
+ 2018 OF Kyle Hess (Donegal), a Pitt commit, went 4-for-7 with six walks, five runs scored and four RBI. The 2019 PBR Super 60 Pro Showcase participant launched a pair of home runs on Friday to complete his week.
+ 2019 OF/LHP Tyler Kehoe (Archbishop Carroll), a South Carolina commit, went 5-for-11 with a double, triple, two RBI and three runs scored. Kehoe also earned a win and a save in two relief performances that included five innings without an earned run and eight strikeouts.
+ 2018 OF/LHP Jake Kelchner (Archbishop Carroll), an Alabama commit, put together a .600 on base percentage for the week (double, triple, two runs scored, two RBI, three walks and a hit by pitch). Kelchner also went six innings with 10 strikeouts to get the win over St. Jospeh's Prep.
+ 2018 2B Robbie McWilliams (Archbishop Ryan) went 5-for-8 with three walks and seven runs scored for the week.
+ 2019 catcher Jared Payne (Red Land), a Kentucky commit, went 4-for-7 with a double, home run, three walks, four runs scored and two RBI on the week.
+ 2019 1B/LHP Garrett Prosper (DuBois Central Catholic) went 9-for-11 with five RBI and six runs scored on the week. He has had eight hits in his last eight plate appearances.
+ 2018 OF Mike Siani (Penn Charter) went 6-for-12 with two doubles, a home run and five runs scored for the week.
+ 2019 OF/RHP Domenic Torretti (DuBois Central Catholic) went 5-for-9 on the week with five RBI and seven runs scored. Of his five hits, four went for extra bases.
+ 2018 SS/RHP Michael Turconi (Blackhawk), a Wake Forest commit, made three appearances on the week earning two save and a win. For the week Turconi worked seven innings with 12 strikeouts and did not allow a hit.
+ 2019 OF/C Brandon Walker (DuBois Central Catholic) was 7-for-10 on the week with five stolen bases. Walker scored five runs and had three RBI.
+ 2018 1B/LHP Luke Zimmerman (Marple Newtown), a Saint Joseph's commit, went 4-for-7 with a triple, three RBI, four runs scored and three walks on the week. He also worked six innings for a win allowing no runs while striking out 12.
