Offensively: RHH. Balanced, even setup with a bend in the knees and hands resting by the ear on the shoulder. Utilized a controlled knee knock stride with the top hand whipping the barrel through a flat path towards extension. The lower half is twitchy and allows for quick rotation into the hitting window. Peppered the left centerfield gap and showed a pull-side approach during batting practice and got off quality swings on time at the front of the plate with consistency. Hit into a stiff front side, registering an impressive 98 mph bat-exit velocity per Trackman Baseball. 

Defensively: The catcher showcased solid receiving abilities with a soft glove hand at the catch point. Pop times ranged from 1.94-2.03 on accurate throws out of a high ¾ slot with a short, quick takeaway. Demonstrated confidence in aggressive straight line footwork towards the target coupled with smooth transfers. Showcased blocking skills on both sides of the dish, beating the ball to the spot while creating downward chest angles. C - 74 mph

Flashed sound defensive skill set with 72 mph arm strength out of the crouch and pop times of 2.13-2.19. Received low 90s velocity in bullpen session with a quiet glove hand and presents a soft wall when blocking.
