5-foot-11, 190-pound solid frame. At the plate, the right-handed hitter had an exit velocity of 94 mph. Sets up in a wide balanced stance with a controlled load. Bat speed is above average, exhibits an upward swing plane and good extension on his finish. He created loud contact during the round. Pull side approach. Above average while in the infield, recorded position velocities up to 81 mph; has consistent hands. Had a compact arm action with consistent accuracy to the bag. Recorded a 60 time of 7.43 at the event.

2B Andrew Hunt (2022) was a steady provider of offensive production in both games for the Eagles on Friday. With a stout 5-11, 190 pound frame, Hunt banged balls to the pull side in multiple at-bats on the day. Just missed a home run in his 1st at-bat of Game 1, and settled for a double (clip below). Hunt, however, wasn’t done yet at the plate, as he stuck a pitch located down & in over the left fielder’s head for another double (clip below) in his 1st at-bat of Game 2. Stays short and connected throughout his swing and generates significant torque from a strong lower-half to hit for power in the middle of the order for the Eagles.

5-foot-11, 180-pound. At the plate, Hunt's 94 mph exit velocity showed his ability to drive the ball with power. Setup included balanced stance and a smooth load. Bat speed was some, and displayed level swing plane. He barreled up some balls. Line drive approach. While in the infield, made throws at velocities up to 82 mph; had consistent hands and a natural exchange. Showed consistent accuracy to the bases. During the event, ran the 60-yard dash in 7.28. On the mound, had a quick arm action. Uses some effort in his delivery. Has consistent balance point. Displayed a clean finish Threw his fastball 78-80 mph and topped out at 81 mph; had sinking action with heavy movement. Shows tight action on his 11/5 curveball (65-67).

Showed added strength since the last time we saw him. Much more physical in the box as shown by his 90 mph exit velocity off the tee. The feet are even in the slightly crouched stance and the hands were set high. Showed a toe tap approach that allowed him to use the strong lower half of the body in the swing. Does a nice job getting the barrel through the hitting zone and finishes well. There is some tilt in the bat path, helping create backspin off the barrel. The ‘22 grad was 81 mph from 3B and looked very natural with the glove. Showed a quick transfer and moved well laterally.

One of the better BP rounds we saw at this event. His middle approach really stood out, not being afraid to shoot the ball the other way. Has some tilt in his swing path. Really good bat speed as well. Defensively, his actions were very good. Feet worked well and was able to pick it. 81 mph INF velo from 3B. Interesting follow.

Solid skill set with some arm strength, even as a young 2022 (78 mph across the dirt). Showed some lateral quickness as well at the hot corner and was able to get his feet in good fielding position before the glove worked. Offensively, he will continue to get stronger but the fundamentals are there. Showed an even stance with a bit of a toe tap load. Level swing plane and a middle of the field approach
