6/30/20

6-foot-1, 160-pound lanky frame. Above average on the mound, has a high ¾ arm angle and quick arm speed. Feel type pitcher and uses easy effort. Showed athletic balance point. Sat with his fastball at 81-82 mph and topped out at 82 mph; has sinking action and around the zone command. His 12/6 curveball (65-69) has very consistent command and late action. His changeup (70-71) has very consistent command and fading action. Smooth action and a clean arm path who can locate all pitches to both sides of the dish. High projectability in this LHP.

9/08/19

Young LHP that really shows high pitchability. The term “crafty” comes to mind watching him pitch. Showed an easy delivery with solid mechanics. The FB was 76- 78 mph and topped at 79 mph with spin rates in the mid 1800’s. The breaking ball showed spin rates in the mid 1700 range at 60-62 mph. The CH shows solid deception and tumble away from RH hitters at 66-67 mph. He does a nice job of creating vertical and horizontal movement on the mound. ‘22 grad that knows how to pitch.

6/19/19

Loved the poise and pitchability of this young LHP. Seemed to always be under control and never got rattled or lost the zone a bit. Did a nice job of repeating solid mechanics which ultimately led to his ability to locate to different zones at the plate. The FB showed huge ASR that topped at 79 MPH (sat 77-78) and he just painted both sides of the plate. The breaking ball was 60-62 mph and showed late sharp, down action and was a definite “out pitch” vs. LH hitters. No doubt, a 2022 to keep an eye on. Just attacked the zone in 2 clean innings of work.
