2/19/19 - Thau threw a complete game two hitter with 9 strikeouts. He was clicking on all cylinders, commanding all of his pitches. His fastball was live all night, as he was getting swing and misses and throwing strikes up in the zone. His slider was on-point getting players to fish and painting the black. The two hits he surrendered came from hitters that hit the ball to the opposite field. Even when hitters made contact they were routinely late. The last game I saw Thau was against Aliso Niguel HS where gave up 5 runs and the hitters squared up a number of balls. It appears as though Thau made an adjust and is starting to dominate when he takes the bump.
