vs Clayton Valley - Washington signee; didn't have a good game at the plate but it's these kind of games, facing quality pitching, that can shape a better approach for him at the plate. Soberon punched him out three times, twice on the hard spike curveball and once on a fastball in. The lack of 2-K adjustments indicates this TALENTED and powerful young slugger still has plenty of development strides to make. Later in the game, vs tough LHP Mason Oakley, he did start to cut down his swing a bit and eventually grounded out to 2nd base on a CB. Brown walked in his final at-bat. He maintained his calm and cool and played well defensively, which soft hands and good feel for the often difficult 3-1 putout.

Area Code Underclass Games; Extra large frame with length in legs/arms and current strength throughout; plenty of space to continue to fill in frame and possibility of more size as he continues to mature/grow. Simple, balanced set up with high hands showing quick load with hands having short sink during load; regularly lands balanced with hands in strong hitting position, ready to attack ball. Swing has some length with loft in his hands; uses raw strength to be able to drive ball to pull side as well as opposite field gap. Showed off raw pull-side strength in BP with multiple HR's. During his best at-bat's, showed a very simple, yet effective, approach towards CF with the ability to keep hands close and barrel balls back through the middle; swing shows length in game especially against quality off-speed pitches and times where swing and miss will take over. Patient hitter in game who is not going to swing at FB's off the plate side-to-side. Defensively shows below average range at first, but has athleticism available to continue to improve here and use his feet to make some more plays; made a great play along foul-territory on pop-up going into stands to make the catch. Shows softer glove on balls in dirt with ability to pick higher hopped balls; below average arm that can improve strength and accuracy of throws. 4.5, 4.8 home-to-first from left-side moving better underway where he can let long legs gain stride length and speed. 2 barreled singles matched with 2 walks in game action over weekend.

BAWS 2018 - Uncommitted, as noticeable as a player could be in a physical sense. Large but also well-proportioned. One of the state's top power hitting prospects. Balanced stance with even hands and heavy front foot lift; lofty swing with ability to leverage ball but stays surprisingly short to the the ball and makes strong move through contact while maintaining balance. Strong wrists/hands with above average raw pull power. Smooth defender showing above average footwork; average arm with lower slot for throws to bags. Large strider as runner. Plays with calm and confidence.

Physically imposing presence on the field, and at 6-foot-4 235-pounds how could he not be. Calm set-up, traditional hand position and relaxed vertical stance with feet slightly outside of shoulders, aggressive hand movement away from body in his load, takes hands inside the ball and stays behind it well, doesn't swing as big as his build and that's a good thing, generates power with a short stroke. Can handle fastball velocity and showed ability to recognize offspeed pitches, though his lower body will have to stay back better for the slow stuff. Moves well around the bag, calm feet, obviously massive target.
