9/27/20

5-foot-8, 145-pound right-handed hitting outfielder. He put on quite a display at the event as he ran a 6.39 sixty and ran down the ball in the outfield. The approach in the outfield is appropriate as he works through the ball and gets off the baseball. He threw 75 mph from right field to the plate. The bat has an exit velocity of 85 mph. The setup is even in base, front foot open to start. The front foot gains ground and closes down as the ball approaches the hitting zone. The path is flat to the baseball as the hands work freely. The frame needs additional physical strength.

Exit Velocity 85 mph

OF Velocity- 75 mph

2/15/19

5-foot-5, 120-pound, smaller, thin, athletic frame. Movements and actions are smooth and work together. A right-handed hitting outfielder, the approach is simple and advanced for his age, hands stay inside the baseball, working one line drive after another to all fields. The tee exit velocity was clocked at 79 mph, with a ton more in there as he gets stronger. Both rounds of batting practice were good, hard solid contact, feel for the barrel. Defensively, proper prep steps, clean footwork through transfer, gains ground. The arm was clocked at 69 mph, all throws were downhill and on target. An athlete, runs well above average for his age, ran a 7.32 sixty yard dash. Once he fills out and adds strength, chance to be a player, good follow for me.
