5-foot-11, 160-pound lean solid build. Smooth solid during batting practice, the left-handed hitter clocked an exit velocity of 87 mph. Begins in a balanced tall stance with a compact arm bar load, then uses a controlled leg kick. Bat speed was flashed above average, had a simple loose swing plane and high good extension on his finish. Found multiple barrels with a lot of loud contact. Line drive approach. Athletic while in the infield, registered his best throw across the diamond at 77 mph; had a quick clean exchange, soft consistent hands, and athletic choppy footwork. Capable from the outfield, his best throws to the bases were registered at 76 mph; shows sure hands, choppy rhythmic feet, and a clean natural exchange. Fields the ball out front, movements laterally were quick. Had a high slot and a longer arm action with consistent accuracy to the bag. Clocked a time of 7.83 in the 60-yard dash. Solid confident on the mound, had a compact quick arm action and a high arm angle with consistent developing arm speed. Stretch only type pitcher and uses decent effort. Displays even in line shoulders with an athletic balance point. Lands square with balanced finish. Produced a fastball that came in at 70-74 mph; has control around the zone and running action. He shows decent down in the zone control and gradual sweeping action on his 1/7 curveball (59-63).

Confreda showed a lot of promise at the Junior Future Games especially on the mound. Fastball was up to 72 from the left side. Confreda competed and pitched to contact getting quick outs and keeping the opponent off the scoreboard.
